Cooper finally beginning to acknowledge that logic, reason and the bleedin’ obvious are better than his way (whatever that is) cannot be used in his defence.

But at least it’s a positive start.

No, no and absolutely no. He's got the worst away record as a premier league manager. From the first 8 games we can see that he is clueless. Before you say we have 9 points, this is inspite the cluelessness of him not because of him. We have the players to be comfortably outside the relegation zone at the end of the season, but with him in charge I fear that he will drag us down. So because of that he has to go and go before it's too late.

Loser mentality

all our problems this season have simply been down to Cooper self sabotaging. It’s hilarious really.

We are as close to top 5 as we are to the relegation zone. Cooper is quite frankly turning water into wine.

I was also pro Cooper, I gave him a chance every single week, and i've defended his poor decisions on multiple occasions on here, making those same mistakes just cannot be defended anymore. I'm really happy for the result, but tactically we are awful for 45-60 minutes every week. It's unsustainable.

Is it? We have 9 points. Carry on like this we stay up. Cooper will not be going.

Cooper in brigade: Have you watched the game? This game was won by Fatawu, Vardy and Winks, not Cooper.

Fatawu, who was for bizarre reasons on the bench, was toying the Southampton defense from the first second he came in.

Vardy was everywhere because he's a world class legend striker. He's the Wilt Chamberlain of football.

Winks dominated the midfield and created all the opportunities going forward.

Big shout to Faes for his commitment defensively even though he has his shaky moments.

Yep the 9 points cannot be denied, and thankfully the bottom 4 are absolutely hopeless. Southampton are one of the worst defensive teams i've seen in the last 2 years, for 60 minutes we were nowhere, it took a really obvious sub to turn the game around and then a total collapse from the opposition.
The constant mistakes and poor decisions are not sustainable, the players won the game today despite Cooper, not the other way around.

Now you are just trolling

I’m not sure how Cooper rationalised playing JJ. But fair play he got it right today, particularly with the changes. Winks bossed the game and Fatawu is dynamite. Nice to see Ayew contribute - although typically it was shinner!

Er, results perhaps?

Did you watch any of that game today? Or even Bournemouth? For long periods of both we were second best, slow, lacking ideas and completely disjointed. Bournemouth on another day win 3 or 4-1. Saints lost their heads especially after the equaliser/ sending off. We were so poor in the first half you can't possibly have been happy?

He's ruining a very good squad and turning us from a possession based, controlled side into.....whatever this clueless set-up is currently called.

I'm not looking for negatives just pointing out the obvious.

You can’t be serious

Can’t believe their are actually people who are saying “surely we cut him some slack”

You are saying this after we have beaten the bottom of the table team with the last kick of the game, after we went 2-0 down, and they had to have a man sent off to help us get over the top.

Good comeback, celebrate the win, but take the last minute winner emotion out of it, today should literally be the bare minimum.

This remark makes no sense at all. Win, lose or draw you clutch at straws to find comments in a lame attempt to reinforce an empty argument.

Fair play he eventually got the tactics right and the right players on the pitch to get us playing like we should have been from the start

I wonder if the players had a word at half time, the first half was the lowest performance ive seen from him, so negative, so safe, just awful....but that 2nd half was nothing like we've seen from him at all.

A bit similar to Enzo last season, the players must of said, come on we are so much better than you are having us play, just let us play!

And fair play to him for listening if that's the case.

Just please stop setting up like we are a league two team and relying on individuals to turn it.

Are you seriously telling me you don’t agree with Cooper actively making things harder in games than they need to be?

This, in a nutshell. It was the same attitude that kept Brenda going for so long.

Hahahaha imagine being that entrenched in your views you feel the need to jump on foxestalk and start slagging the manager and arguing with your fellow fans after a 3-2 98th minute winner from 2 nil down.

I'm off to lidl to buy a 12 pack to demolish up the fuching city.

Some of you need to grow up. Early days. You can have Dyche? Or what about that wonderful 1 point Sheffield Wednesday manager. Let's see as things settle.

Didn't hear much from you in that crap first half today

This team spirit was absolutely not on show during those later Brendan times.

However, Cooper needs to learn that some players he has been insistent on leaving out need to come into the starting XI, and also learn that subbing off players not performing well is a good thing.
