Would be surprised if we are outside the relegation zone by Christmas and as per the old cliché this heralds the time to change the manager. Can we wait this long though?

I'm not a Cooper fan and would upgrade him.

But the amount of people that seems to be forgetting the majority of our defensive players where here in the last 2 season of Rodgers reign and under Smith and now Cooper.

The same group have been regularly letting in 2 goals a game in the PL for in the last 3 seasons we have been in it.

The aren't suddenly getting any better.

It's been our achilles heel since the start of the 21/22 season.

Under 3 different manager they have been poor, Faes and Justin even coughed up regular error in the championship under Enzo.

Massive rebuild at the back needed, I only keep Nelson and Okoli of the current crop.

Okoli was poor for two of the goals last night, still early days to judge whether he’s going to be a success.

I meant to the board, but our direction of travel is currently different. Currently. Only currently. Fail to get anything t Ipswich and it looks quite different.

Fair I probably overreacted but I'm just fed up of cooper and what seems to be his lack of plan for anything

Out for me! Tried to play Enzo set up out of no where but without the key ingredient, PRESSING THE OPPOSITION!

Forest won’t have an easier win all season, a simple deep block nullified us and all they had to do was simple long diagonal balls to their wingers who were suddenly running at our fullbacks 1v1. I must have seen those diagonal balls over 10times including their embarrassing third goal!

I still have no idea what Coopers game plan is and I don’t think he even does.

It's all very late-stage Rodgers in my opinion. Conceding goals right left and centre, while occasionally scoring enough times to earn points here and there. The underlying stats being a huge concern, we are so open at the back its ridiculous.

There were some pretty glaring warning signs before the absolute collapse in 2022/23 that suggested we were higher in the league than we should have been statistically - I feel like the same thing is happening all over again. My concern is, like the end of the Rodgers era, once the goals dry up, we'll sink like a stone.

I think we have decent attacking talent. We need someone who knows how to set-up a team defensively.  You can't concede goals at the rate we do and expect to stay up.

our keeper has the highest xg as well without him we would be rock bottom, we had one shot on target last night and that was the goal at home against a rival, we are poor at the back and toothless going forward.

I do think we go down under cooper

Poor manager does not seem to have a clue totally out of his depth

I was really suprised with how you guys set up. We never played like that under Cooper, and I can't believe he left both of our wingers 1 v 1 with your fullbacks. Hudson Odoi & Elanga had both of them on toast, every team doubles up on Hudson Odoi because he normally does that if you don't. Cooper should know this as he was the one that signed him.

I think that was where the game was won even though they weren't really involved in the goals. You can only leave the wingers 1 v 1 at this level if they are elite at 1 v 1 defending, we can do it with Aina but not the other side. Cooper has seemingly never learnt this, he would leave Brennan Johnson up the pitch with Neco Williams getting skinned most games. It was probably worth it because Brennan consistently delivered but it hurt us defensively.

Cooper had the biggest opportunity of his career to turn the tides. 2 winnable games (Forest and Ipswich), 6pts and the season was 90% done and dusted. He failed to even have the players focused and aggressive on the local derby. He failed because he isn't a manager or a coach. He's a nobody like Rooney.

That said, someone like Cooper must have some important connections with the elite to be a manager in high level football.

He's a kid still learning.

I think there is a noticeable drop off in the quality of coaching and management since Enzo and co departed and whilst he was far from perfect I think people, including the players are have cottoned on pretty sharpish to the massive downgrade and drop off in standards

Think of the vibes, too.

Enzo had just come off the back of winning the treble.

Cooper's come in off the back of sitting on his arse watching Gogglebox and picking the bobbles off his joggers for six months.

Read back a bit mate I’ve posted it multiple times

Was it really JJ? Seems odd JJ would comment about Ricardo not getting in the team in his position

Yep, he's tactically awful, and even if something becomes obvious in game, he doesn't change it, with a half decent manager, i'd say we'd have at least another 4 points
