I don't hear other top managers doing it - He's too honest and too crap

It's a bizarre take - that being honest is an admission of not being good. By that logic, Rodgers is a top manager...

If Cooper was in denial and deluded, then he would be torn apart with far more vigour by our fanbase.

He's saying essentially all the time that he's not very good - that's how it sounds to me - honesty is good but if you're being interviewed and it's coming across that you're saying I need to learn this and learn from that all the time it sounds  terrible.

It's not about being in denial but actually doing things that show you have a mastery control in the role i.e continued goals down our right, in game tactical changes, smart substitutions - he does none of it

The fact that he's doing the job to such a poor level as well - If you had him on probation for 3 or 6 months you'd not be hiring him for the permanent role.

How much would it cost the club to sack Cooper?  Assume we would have to pay off the remainder of his contract.  Can the club afford it?

I don't disagree. And so far he is proving that he's not very good. He's saying it, his pedigree and the team's performances are showing it, the fans are voicing it.

Being obtuse about it won't earn him respect from the players, fans or ownership. Being honest is probably his best way to postpone the inevitable.

I think there's very little overlap between Enzo out and Cooper out, as the Enzo out lot (the sustained ones, not the brief panic after Plymouth) were about style and complained of Enzo ball being boring. As such, they like Cooper-ball because it's drastically different (and far worse to watch, but they won't admit that)

You're over thinking things

Just seen Roberto Mancini in Morrisons near the ground buying a meal deal. Take from that what you will.

Their meal deals aren't all that but still,...

Good Points

To some it makes him likable but to me it's continued incompetence flagging and I find it more than jarring

Imagine if he had been sacked and we had a real manager in charge for the forest game we litterally could of been 9 points clear of the relegation zone today.

Has he gone yet?

Mentally, who knows, in looks, for sometime,  I'm guessing he will not be sacked over Halloween because if he was to rock up at Tops pad to have a word they'd think Michael Myers had come calling without his mask.

I can’t get over how useless he was yesterday. Can’t get over how ineffective he’s been with our issues all season.

Poor manager but this club will persevere because it’s “nice” until it’s too late.

Forest looked better organised and better coached . Everyone seemed to know what they were doing. Also fitter than us which is suprising as they played on Monday. Get him gone while we still have a chance. ITS NOT WORKING

I was actually one of the ones saying we could be in trouble the season before we got relegated, and but for a clutch of wonder goals at the start of the season, we probably would have been.

I think you are under thinking things. You seem to think the bottom 4, who don't have a win between them are suddenly going to win twice in the next 2 games? Of course a win or two will tighten things up for someone, but if anyone is saying they expected us to have more than 9 points from 9 games and be more than a couple of points outside the relegation zone is delusional. And they are applying a delusional standard to the manager.

Of course I expect to play more consistently over 90mins, but I think it's unrealistic to complain about the points total we have actually managed to accrue.

Ok according to you then we should be relegated that's your expectation for this season mine is a bit higher, some of those teams have had some tough opposition in those first 9 matches I expect some of them to pick up points we have had a better run compared to some I might be under thinking it but I dont accept we couldn't do better with someone else in the dug out.

I see similarities with the start of the season with Shakespeare. Vichai realized he had to go early in the season. Was it the 5th or 6th game? I don’t see Top seeing it until it’ll be too late with Cooper. For our long term future I certainly hope he does.
