Facu said Cooper was a key part in why he signed - from today's interview in the Telegraph. At least that's one positive (Awaits someone disputing this, even though it's a direct quote from the player!)

If he’s not sacked by the international break he’s clearly going to be staying till at least the new year which would be very disappointing . I bet the players cannot wait for his departure.

A loan player though he’s not staying long term so it’s not really a valid opinion?

It's a bit of a shame no-one away from the players and other staff can see what he's like and says in the dressing room.

Probably quite a few articles in the works on fall outs or not enjoying the system just waiting for a few bad results to be released

Why? The ownership make many mistakes but they have generally got the management choice right there mistake has been holding on to them for too long. Both Rodgers and maresca were recent correct choices.

Cooper obviously wasn't but that does seem to be the exception rather than the rule

Cooper isn't the only exception. A big issue for me is that they never look elsewhere than this Country. Even the foreign managers they have appointed have all worked in this Country at some point.

I doubt it, but the pressure will be on, a few more bad results and were in the bottom 3, i think it will force Tops hand

That's true, although the way this season is going we could either be in the relegation area or up in 12th by the international break and I'm sure we'd all still feel just as fed up either way.

Unfortunately your right, alot of peeps will not warm to Cooper no matter what.  I hope he keeps us up and we look at a more progressive manager for next season.

I'll happily change my mind on Cooper when we have a full match where we don't look horrific for a minimum of 30 minutes

What if we go all season, looking horrific in games for whole halves, but still pick up plenty of points to be clear of relegation? Would that suffice?

Isn't that just bog standard script stuff for any new signing alongside fans / facilities / history/ owner etc*

Aldi's "fresh" produce is great if you don't expect it to last more than 36 hours in your house without being compost.

I think that says more about your kitchen hygiene than Aldi's nosh.

nah, I've had multiple times going through Aldi and seeing strawberries already going furry on the shelves. Tends to vary by store but they're very hit and miss with fresh produce.

Would he cope ok in a Supermarket?..

One half of the shop would look great and the other half would look shit.

You'd have things all in the wrong places, too.

And you'd pack all your groceries and the bottom of the bag would fall out. And then you'd leave the store and the alarms would go off.

And then you'd get to the car park and your car would be stolen.

And it's pissing it down.

I really hate Cooper.

Cooper is a modern day Clough. A very wily old fox. He obviously put Ward in goal against Man Utd to give them a false sense of security for the upcoming match against them in the league. Make it look like we got battered so they’re over confident in the next game.

He literally took one for the team to get us 3 points in just over a week, genius!

Nope, he didn’t have to say it.

Not happy with Cooper either but deserves some positive recognition here.

Just. Probably anyway.

We almost need to use Cooper like we did with Puel.

Go back to our old model, sign young promising players and try and build again. Saying that it doesn't seem as though the board have learnt any lessons. Look at the squad we had with Rodgers and we got relegated ffs. We should have never been in any situation like we were.

It would make me feel we had a good enough side to stay up despite of Cooper, rather than because of Cooper and he should still go.

I think there is a chance he stays all season and we stay up, but I think it's far greater if we changed him for anyone competent of tactically organising a team.

Huge game this and huge pressure on cooper now. He knows it too!

lose this and we start sliding down but win and we creep up and create a buffer. Will be a tough game but if he can’t win these sorts of games we have no business being in the premier league. Clock is ticking Mr.Cooper

We're rolling up to yet another international break, and as before I think that opens up a window to bring someone new in and give them a bit of time. As a result Cooper needs 3 points from the next 2 really.  Though I think if he scrapes 2 draws he'll be kept on.  A win against Ipswich and he's staying, regardless.  A draw and loss to Utd he'll be on thin ice.  2 draws I think will see him squeeze by.  If we lose to Ipswich but get a win at Old Trafford he'll definitely stay.  Assuming any loss to Ipswich isn't so bad that he gets the boot before the Man Utd game.
