This is not hyperbole in anyway and I am absolutely not fishing for likes but I genuinely believe Claude Puel was and is a better coach/manager.

Not sure why this is controversial

Puel did some very good work in the transfer market (not alone granted ) and kept us largely competitive in the league

Cooper is the worst manager I've ever seen.

Not to say he's wrecked the club like Taylor, treated us like shit like Little, or pissed away chances like Rodgers.

But actually in so far as being a manger of a football team - he's the worst.

For fans of a certain vintage, I'd class him in the same league as Pleat but with less excuses.

Won't argue with any of that... my post was about Puel, who I thought got a rought time despite some good work behind the scenes. I gave him longer than most because of that- seen nothing from Cooper to give him that luxury.

Not controversial in the slightest, he was quite comfortably better. Peter Taylor is the only comparison to Cooper and I see the latter surpassing his ineptitude here

Litmus test now for spaghetti coops. I don’t like him, I didn’t want him. If he can’t win multiple games on the next 4 premier league fixtures, then he ca not be afforded any more time. Simple

as that.

if we don’t win at least 2 out of the next 4 premier league fixtures, there can be no excuse. Anything less can not be defended.

That is putting it mildly if you look at who puel and marcia signed and how much we sold those signings for it was absolutely a peak period of transfer business in the clubs history I would be on my knees thanking the gods if a puel and marcia Combo took over next.

A this point Cooper has had every reasonable chance and it's become clear to me that perhaps he just isn't up to the job. Just today I was begging his tv image not to make ANY substitutions in the tail end of the match. But he did, again, and here we are, again.  We would've done better if he were shown a red card.

I don't know what bona fides got him hired, but I would like to know what they were.

Does our manager know that he has 5 subs he can bring on and he doesn’t have to wait till the 84 minute, vardy is 37 , give him 15 minutes in the second half , and throw on a fresh player . He throw that game away by not bring on fresh legs , the team had worked so hard , they looked stuffed , but cooper refused to make changes as usual

Pressure means another 3 games wasted unfortunately. Pressure should already be there.

Agreed - the alarm bells were ringing from the off - nice bloke but an exceedingly poor football manager

We need new owners, a new board & new manager. None are up to the job.

Could we switch some of the fans too while you’re at it? Otherwise the new owners & board would only get two matches to get it right before FoxesTalk want them out!

Cooper has had 7 games too many already he shouldn’t have been hired in the first place imo it’s one of the worst managerial appointment in LCFC history and we have had some right duffers over the years.

People wanted him sacked before he even played a match! Talk about giving a manager a chance.

How can you give a manager a chance? When you know he wouldn’t be up to the job? He’s shite ! It’s equivalent to a championship club appointing a league one manager he has so many limitations, we have the players to play football at this level and get results but tactically they are set up cannon fodder.

You don’t know he’s not up to the job. If he keeps us up like he has done before with Forest, he’ll be a success.

well hes had 8 games now(league and cup) i think the one wanting him out before a game had been played jumped the gun so to speak and should always give a manager a bit of a chance, but think its fair to say no after 8 games hes not upto the job, learnt anything being away from the game or during his time at Forest,

the real last straw for me was him parking the bus on the 75min at Palace,

cant wait for him to start Ayew instead of Fatawu, JJ over Ricardo and Faes and Vesty next week, 3 pilars of the team last season not remotely getting a looking in, even tho the Fatawu and Vesty imo did alright against Spurs

but once again another manager playing favourites as well

thats true, but we havent really seen much from him to say he'll keep us up, tactically hes incredibly poor, management is too

even forest fans said he should have got the boot sooner, also we literally last week got outclassed by Walsall of League 2, got outplayed by Everton who should have beat us etc

and after yesterday hes trying to deflect about 2 decisions that didnt go our way, right like theyd have changed the outcome, Arsenal had nearly 40 attempts ffs, we got hammered in every respect

12 wins from 61 premier league games doesn’t scream to me that’s he up to the job..

Do we?

Our squad is far inferior to the one that took us down with the clown.

This season is all about minimum 17th and above.

I believe we can achieve that with Cooperman.

Next summer if that is achieved it'll be time to reassess and push on and replace to achieve that.

Obviously if the league position looks  perilous before then.change will be needed.

Instead of writing shit on here get down the City next week and open your mouth and create an atmosphere to help our aims.

Are you going v Bournemouth?
