They were in the zone. reckon they would have pumped most teams but not that badly. Brighton were punch drunk 

Bournemouth must be really good! I suppose we should be grateful that Liverpool and Arsenal are above Forest even though we don't like them much either

The simple truth is that what we did was miraculous and although we haven’t matched it in the last few years it hardly means the club is run by incompetents. It just means we ve not continued to perform miracles and made some mistakes.

Despite the so called 'collapse' of Brighton they already have as many points as we did in our relegation season. If anything what you have said puts it into perspective how badly run we had to be to go from back to back 5th place finishes to relegation when Brighton are falling off from lower heights and still are nowhere near relegation.

 

We didnt just make 'some mistakes' we completely capitulated and now after one win following 7 losses the 'careful what you wish for' fans are back in full force saying how we're actually secretly a well run club.

How good would it be to not have the greedy clubs around. Sure, you will get the likes of forest winning but if you put proper wage and salary caps in place, the league would see different teams winning more frequently (in my opinion). That's healthy for all fans.

It's not that random!  This may always have been a yo-yo club, but LCFC had finally reached a point where revenues and squad value were solidly top 25 in the world for a few years running.  One or two dodgy decisions is NOT enough to bring down a club in that position.

 

It took a LOT of horrific decisions on managerial appointments and player acquisitions and contracts, compounded by sticking with (or being locked into) the worst, to bring this club to its knees.

 

We are where we are because we have been one of the worst run clubs in European football for five years now.

This could be a big moment for Ipswich. There were a few boos at full-time. They were very flat and predictable. And Muric showed again that he's nowhere near Premier League level. He has cost them so much this season.

Looking at our run of fixtures, we essentially need to hope Ipswich, Wolves and Southampton don’t pick up anything in between us playing them, because we are not picking up any points from elsewhere. Pretty desperate looking at it. 
Think we are pretty much done now, one of those teams will pick up some surprises somewhere.
