Maddison will want to play his heart out in this game to try and answer Roy Keane’s comments about him this week.

 

Whilst Neville and Wright were saying he was a top top player and Spurs / Ange will be happy to see him back for this game as he’s a difference maker, Roy said do me a favour, yes he’s a good player but he’s not a top player, a player that grabs a game by the scruff of the neck and pulls his team through going onto say the spurs team sat in the changing room won’t be looking at him thinking great James is back everything is going to be ok.

Roy’s probably correct mind.

Yes, idk about his family commitments here but MLS is 100% suitable for him. No way he's going to Asia though, too young to have and accept several social restrictions.

He’s very attached to his family here isn’t he. Having said that his partner is from LA so I bet she’d love to go home after 5 years in Nottingham lol
