So after we got a slating for having very poor xG v Man C they go and dish out this tripe and only achieved an xG 0.49 I know it’s still probably a lot higher than our 0.02 or wot ever it was but then we are not the mighty footballing nation that is Man C.

I don’t expect it won’t be mulled over by papers and pundits for the next week and be put down to a bad day or going up against 10 behind the ball or what ever the excuse is for the fashionable teams.

Man U couldn’t have been any higher and probably closer to our effort than MC’s

Just seen Man U xG 0.92

Man U 2 shots on target forcing 2 saves

Man City 5 shots on target forcing 6 saves (?)

They're just having a bad year :dunno:

They've scored an absurd amount of goals during his time there and have played some ridiculously good football winning basically the everything.

I reckon their fans are pleased idk?

Probably still win a trophy too.

I love you man but at some point even you have to check your bias a bit lol

They're almost certainly going to comfortably walk the top four. The Big Six absolutely rolled out the red carpet for us in 19/20 and 20/21 and we still tripped over it.

Comparisons to 15/16 are beyond silly but they've done a better job or cracking CL qualification than our Rodgers teams did.

Rate Nuno as a manager of people significantly higher than Brendan. He's done a superb job turning a squad of random, scatter gun mercenary signings in to a solid if simple team.

They've had a cracking season, but boy have they had the rub of the green. 😂

Every time they've lost, everyone around them slips up either the same weekend or the following weekend. I swear Big Wes took the monks with him.

Man Utd are drifting to the end of the season with other priorities. We needed to win to do anything and had to score three goals to do so. We had no shots.

What's average points total for 4th position? About 70 points?

Forest on 57 with 21 points left to play for, so they'll probably finish on about 68-72? So they ain't really being 'let off the hook' its just what happens year after year as seen by the points totals.

We literally did nothing in 90 minutes against Man City, we were rightly slated. No-one can make any excuses.

Did a great job at wolves and let’s face it no worse than Ange has done at Spurs

Wolves will get 42pts+ and we’ll still be told that Cooper would’ve kept us up

We win the next 8 we get 41 points!! I don’t think wolves will get 42! Especially if we beat them.

Just watched MOTD2 with March's goal of the month. Cucurella and Bruno Fernandes goals against us were nominated.

Both decent hits but not a single defender anywhere near them or even thinking of closing down. Now, I don't really care about that. We're shit and I accepted that months ago.

I just think that any goal scored against us should be barred from being nominated for goal of the month. You might as well include goals scored in training against mannequins.

Man City a disgrace. Essentially had midweek off and they serve that up.

Manchester derby the most overrated there is.

Are Chelsea and Man City less bothered about qualifying for the Champions League given the money they’re going to be given for the Club World Cup?

But do they want to be in the Europa league ?

Suppose they would just play the kids in that .

Forest let off the hook again. Chelsea are diabolical given the money they've spent.

Just had a quick look on their forum, interesting how many of their fans want Maresca out now. Not won an away game since December which is mad for a club like Chelsea.

I'm not sure why anyone thinks Forest are in the position they are due to luck. We could've got CL football with 66/67pts, but fuched it up twice. If Forest manage it, its because they deserve it. We of all teams know you cant fake an entire season, every team ends up where they do on merit.

I don't think anyone is arguing that it's ALL luck, just that they have got the rub of the green a hell of a lot. Which is pretty undeniable.

I think I’ve just spotted the flaw in your argument!

Ivan Jurić on his way out ?

Southampton already planning for next season or just going to get a temporary manager in ..

I imagine it'll be an interim for the remainder of the games and then target someone for the summer permanently.

Forest have built a talented team and have a wily manager but they have been lucky.

Wood has 18 goals from 11 xG. On expected points they're 11th.

Ref watch is funny lol

Dermot Gallagher basing his decision on the Harrison Everton penalty on the players reaction. What about each player that dives? If it was all based on reaction then every penalty gets given?
