We are massively worse than Ipswich but is there not around a 3 million difference paid per league position finished?

Ipswich remind me of Burnley in 14/15 

 

They came up and went straight back down but made decent investments on and off the pitch and came straight back up and stabilised

Thats exactly what Fulham built off of, a few yo-yo years but overall strengthening the squad until they were strong enough coming up to stay up.  Exactly why wasting budget and squad space  on  Ayew and BDR was always absurd. 

Absolutely. Our transfer window was a disaster from a long-term perspective. And also from a short-term perspective.

Look, I get your point of view but I was a "moaner" since the summer regarding recruiting and especially criticised heavily the bizarre appointments of a Forest reject and someone who declared himself as a football manager. So simply put, no I'm not happy and I find it hard to believe these players played for the shirt yesterday. 

And certainly I'm not clapping for anyone in the club because from top to bottom are all responsible for this mess.

At some point mate, you’ve either got to give up or look for small positives. I didn’t think we’d score again all season and was very confident we’d double drop. Yesterday proved it’s not quite that bad, but we don’t have any right to be in the PL. 

 

All I want is to see my team compete and not get bummed week in week out.

Glad I’m not going. I hate seeing the scousers happy at the best of times, but combining it with relegation is more than I can stomach 😂
