Trouble is that that almost certainly ends O'Neil and they'll have their own new manager bounce for their game with us.

Or hopefully a Dawson like caretaker performance in place!

I know every club has them but travelling often from E Anglia into N London I quite regularly get caught up in the pre and post Spurs match crowd and they do seem to have a disproportionate number of utter pond life supporting them, often early twenty something lads from Chelmsford or Bishop's Stortford still living with Mum.

Why I'm asking, break away into a league that obviously wouldn't be as financially great as the Premier league but a more level playing field and perhaps cheaper tickets etc

Would definitely kill the Premier league too as the remaining big 6 won't want to be part of it anymore, they can have their euro super league.

Lots of people moaning about the current money driven EPL but hypocrisy no if they are happy to stay for that money?

Well apart from the obvious legalities it’s way too late now for such drastic action. The cash flows from top down.I’m presuming you would want the other 14 clubs to go back into the football league?I would expect most clubs to go into administration.Funding for youth football at all levels to be cut.Women’s teams to be disbanded and an overall drop in standards across the board.

With the greatly reduced TV contracts, ticket sales would be more important than ever to make up for any shortfall.Admission for some National League games is already over 20 quid.
Not even mentioned how many owners would just jack.

O'Neil will leave now no matter what happens on Monday. We're already talking to other managers.

The commentary in this game has been so ****ing weird

Sky's commentary and overall coverage has regressed badly in recent years.

It's dreadfully amateurish. But when the big game of the weekend has analysis from Jamie Redknapp, Merson and Carragher, you're hardly going to get anything worth listening to.

It's weird how they get the EFL coverage so right, and the PL coverage so wrong.
