Defo screws uefas plans if a few of main elite get knocked early on. I somehow dont think they wanted real Madrid v psg being play off game or Barcelona v inter milan.

I kind of think the opposite.

 

They'll want at least one blockbuster play off round match to sell it a bit more but then have the big teams that are left picking off the smaller teams from round of 16 onwards.

The rest of Celtic's matches are Leipzip and Brugge at home, Zagreb away, Young Boys at home, Villa away

They are really trying to sell this new format on TNT Sports by saying its so interesting because you've only got one opportunity to beat a team since their isn't a return match in the group, so no match of revenge.

Bayern are crap. It was nonsense signing Kane and more nonsense appointing Kompany. Add to all the above the fact their defense is a joke. Their board decisions are shocking the last couple years. They probably thought they'll continue for another decade on autopilot. 

Kane can score a 1000 goals but he drags the whole team down. This guy is a professional loser.

Barca have been really good under Hansi Flick so far this season tbf. 

 

Bayern are top of the Bundesliga and unbeaten. They're not the peak Bayern of a few years ago but it's still an impressive statement win for Flick. 

 

Meanwhile, imagine being an Atleti fan. Two spawn deflections and a phantom penalty at one end and a whole bunch of goal line blocks and scrambles at the other.

My lad (who lives up north) is a Manchester City fan (I know I know but he claims Leicester are his second team) dragged me up to watch Man City v Sparta Prague last night.

 

i mean obviously the result wasn't ever really in doubt but the fans were so poor first half especially as all you could hear were Sparta fans - first chunk of second half pretty much the same. At 2-0 and 3-0 onwards the Man City fans made more noise in fairness. 
 

50'000 attendance and they are clearly starting another phase of expanding the stadium - makes me envious as we can't even add a few seats after years of planning
