The problem with the Mbappe signing was they already had Vinicius Jr who formed a great partnership with Bellingham, it seems they are struggling to get that balance back. With world class players you would expect that Ancelotti could find a way but it isn’t working at the moment

Which was ridiculous. The rule is a farce, what on earth is the defender supposed to do there? It isn't a shot towards the goal, it's not a clear scoring opportunity, the defender doesn't stop deliberately the ball with his hand, it's like a 20cm distance between him and the attacker.

They seem to give those in Europe more than here .

True, here the PL has a different rule for handballs, a bit more fair for the defenders. The majority of european leagues though award a penalty for almost every handball inside the box which is ruining the sport. Below are some of the leagues awarding a pen for almost every handball:

Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Poland. Germany and especially France have a more "relaxed" rule.
