It’s absolutely comedic he’s wearing the number 9 shirt, I bet Vardy is pissing himself with laughter.

It’s a disgrace that the club actually allowed him to take that squad number. It should never have been retired but leaving it unassigned for a year would have shown a bit of respect.

Instead it’s just been handed over without a care in the world to one of the least deserving players.

A complete lack of respect from the club for allowing it and Jordan Fvcking Ayew for asking for it

I’ve defended him as a signing overall but this was ****ing pathetic. Like you said, he’s got no interest in being an actual striker.

Giving him the number 9 was amongst the worst things this club has done in the modern era

Talk about another stupid ****ing decision.

If h s the only striker we have to rely on for goals, taking corners, penalties and free kicks then we are totally Fuched !!

Top sort out Rudkins Schitt and buy a decent striker  !!

His corner that actually landed in Wigan today was special. Then there was the one that didn’t beat the first man. He played a good ball to JJ second half and then he did that pathetic falling over thing and I concluded that the guy is probably a lovely guy but as a footballer he’s utter shite.

It’s like someone’s dad down the park trying too hard as he hasn’t seen the kids for weeks.

Not only is it quite disrespectful...but its actaully a bonkers decision managment wise...for any potential player coming in...its screams we put all our hopes and success in the hands of a guy thats to old, does not look that interested, and in my opinion no where hood enough to be running the line as no 09

What decent player would come subconsciously thinking im going to play 2nd fiddle,  its bad choices after bad choices eith this club

That was his worst game in a Leicester shirt.

Everything he did was bad. Shocking performance.

Can't argue with this. He held on to the ball for too long, ignored players in better positions to shoot, and slowed down our attacks. Also, more annoyingly, he kept backing into players and falling over to try and blag free kicks. You'd think he'd learn after failing to win over the referee after a couple of attempts, but he kept doing it! Infuriating.

Somebody who just actually plays up front would be an improvement- I’ve never seen anybody - even false nines - just completely vacate the area they’re supposed to be in.

Can't remember who but as someone said in the match thread, he's like Harry Kane without being good at literally any of the things Harry Kane is good at. The bit where he made his sole positive contribution in skinning someone and then, instead of cutting it back for a teammate (I think Winks?) to score, doubled back and shot from a basically impossible angle summed him up. Also taking pointless pot shots from distance again, which some people were really pleased about against Wednesday for some reason, and monopolising our set pieces despite being tragic at them and both our goals last week coming when someone else took over. Insists on slowing down every attack he's involved in to his own glacial pace. Useless, selfish waster.

Other people have alluded to it in other posts he obviously thinks he's step above everyone else in terms of ability but he's absolutely f**ing dog shit. He always has been and always will be what a crap signing, but everyone knew that at the time because he was shit for palace apart from Rudkin and Cooper the clueless t**t's

Yep.

Daka should start because he doesn’t play stupid f ucking hero ball and he moves like a striker does.

We’ve created very little against 11 men so far and Ayew is the main problem, not to say there aren’t other problems with what we do in the final third.

I said he's like a pound shop Harry Kane for England. Never where he should be, between the posts leading the line. He took a free kick today from the left back position. Ironically it was the one where he put JJ in, was his best set piece of the day. But he shouldn't be anywhere near taking it.

Why does he take every set piece, reminds me of a bigger boy on the park

Was using the ISS as a target when taking corners 🛰😆🫣
