I'd compare him to Modric. Except the ceiling may be even higher.

You've started NYE early haven't you

100% percent guaranteed that pep noticed his display today and was impressed.

Would be shocked if pep isn’t in for him in the summer, they have a few aging midfielders that will need replacing.

we just need to somehow stay in this league and keep him another season and extend his contract.

100% agree and its so frustrating as ideally we would build a team around this lad...proper player worth paying the entrance fee to watch

Wouldn't have been an issue if we hadn't have lay out the red carpet and rolled over..

Pep would be down the Job Centre.

But in seriousness, Yes Pep did notice his performance and it's even been noted somewhere that Pep told BEK as much. Pep will see lots of good individual performances throughout the season though, they don't just bid on everyone that has a good game against them.

They'd have to fly them in on Etihad A380s this season.

buying every single player from all your competitors is one way to guarantee survival (get on it top, easier than getting Rudkin to develop a coherent recruitment strategy)

No your right mate they don’t just bid on anyone that has a good game against them, but to see a 20 year old with less than 6 months experience in the premier league, run the midfield against his side, that is highly impressive.

Who gets the credit for this signing then? Cooper or Rudkin? Asking for a friend.

Neither surely it couldn’t have been either of the fools - im giving it to Glover.

have we got a song for the maestro yet?

He could have Youri’s old song  - the star man

I really wonder how good he can get. I think Glover has proven his worth at spotting creative players. He must be pulling his hair out that the cooper pushed the premier league proven lads on him as i’m sure he would have filled the spot with someone special given the funds.

He has a strong history for this as well, famously bringing payet to west ham. Where he has historically struggled is with defensive players and I don’t think he’s cracked one of those for us yet.

Hermansen is technically a defensive player. I think Okoli will be fine. Haven’t bought that many other defensive players in though.

Okoli wasn’t too bad in defence, he certainly didn’t make errors like our so called experienced CBs. Cooper was starting the attacks out of the back with Okoli rather than Faes and he wasn’t up to speed so gave the ball away too often.

Poor kid deserved to sign for a proper club.

Absolute class and a warrior with it.

Wasted on us.

Can't comprehend why Ruud hooks him when he's the only one that can create.

We never scouted him. They ran out of options in the summer when everyone turned us down and the Leuven DoF tipped the club off about him being available.

Bet he's got an absolutely fool proof release clause. No chance he plays a minute of championship football.

Yes too good for us. What the fuch was that sub about? The decision to play Ward and now take off Bilal today are totalling baffling and proves Ruud is a football manager dunce

He's on a learning curve, Working hard in games without delivering a lot. That's where he needs to improve. He does the wrong thing at times but all part of his learning.

He just needs plenty of encouragement and help from the Manager and Coaches and he's going to be a big player for us.

It was strange to see him subbed today though.
