Even if he stays we will lose him for a chunk of the season for AFCON.

5-6 weeks if Morocco make it to the final

I think we could definitely get away with playing Ayew as the attacking mid whilst Bilal is gone though

5-6 weeks but probably 8 or so games - almost 20% of the season. Let's hope they're out in the group phase.

Thought he was pretty quiet in the first half but much better in the second half, especially when him and Ayew were both in the middle together

Some great link up play between them

He’s a fun player. Similar with Fatawu, lots of ability but also grafts.

Should have scored though

Chatter online says we might sell him for £40m to Palace

If so that must give us money to buy a striker

No chance its 40.

£40 million would be laughable.

He has shown some signs of being a top

player but could easily become just an average one too. Let’s hope Palace are that desperate to sign him

He has talents and skills already which many others can’t train to get. Top player and only 20/21. Tracks back too. Big potential. 40m is a minimum. We have seen more for players with less potential.

He has the attributes to have a great career. He is still very raw. His decision making and execution needs work. Hope we can sell him for the price quoted, and fear we buy some dud from Spurs or Southampton in exchange.

Is he a top player yet? I haven't seen enough of him to make that judgement. He was OK in the Premier League but nothing more. Shows signs of something, but still seems raw and too early to tell.

Anything just over £30million would be good business. £40+ million won't happen.

I don't think he's reached the level of KDH yet and I wouldnt put him in the top player bracket.

He has a long way to go still

He’s got a lot of potential but I don’t think he’s worth £30m at the moment based solely on his own performances. Sure you can argue that based on other players fees we could demand that, but what has he actually done that’s worth £30m?

Hes gone missing in just as many games as he’s turned up and put in a half decent performance, and the amount of performances where he really excelled are few and far between.

I agree we can all see his potential, but thousands of players never live up to their potential and end up bang average players compared to what was expected of them.

Hes better than the championship, but if Leicester were on the other end of this deal paying £35m for him, most here would not really be that happy I’d imagine.

If we get £35m for him I’d applaud Rudkin as that would be decent business. The pool of players that he’s currently in isn’t exactly tiny.

Hope he stays and I think his options will be far stronger if he leaves after dominating the championship for a year, but if his head isn’t fully in it then get rid and bring someone in who is.

Tyler Dibling has just gone to Everton for a deal worth upto £42 million with add ons.

We're perfectly entitled to ask for £30 plus million IMO.

The prices that Southampton, the second worst PL team in history, get for their duffers is mad!
