lol Some goal that is. Must get down to Seagrave to watch these lads play.

There might be a few more options this year as we've made the 'play offs' which is a 16 team end of season shootout. With 1st playing 16th, 2nd playing 15th and so on. We're currently 10th but could finish 6th.

Officially our last game is "away" at Forest tomorrow but it's at Loughborough so you could go there too?

Unofficially there's a chance we will have 4 more games, the form the lads are in you wouldn't but it past them going all the way! Depends how much more Ruud wants to play the main men I guess.

Is there the possibility he does stay next season and waits to see how it goes with us before deciding who to sign a professional deal with in July 2026?

He'll likely play 30+ league games for us next season.

If he’s advised well then I genuinely think he’s better off staying with us, rather than getting lost in PL2 at a Man City or Liverpool and playing 30 mins in the league cup a couple times a season until he’s 18/19.

A couple years in the men’s game will be much better for his development and his reputation, although obviously my POV is biased.

If we are giving him league minutes ot could sway him, depends if he want to play mans football or go a big club and wait a couples of years for a chance.

I don't think we have anything to lose chucking him in now, playing minutes in the PL just strengthen our case in a tribunal.

100% agree and I think we might now.

Thought Alves would have 50+ apps for us now but he’s still not got double figures overall and is about to turn 20, 4 years older than Monga.

He probably would have done without he's massive injury, probably cost him 18 months.

I think Brendan was ready to chuck him in tbf. Injury came at a terrible time. Hasn't helped with the turmoil and revolving door of managers since either

Would be surprised if Mings is here next season. Hope he is but if the rumblings are true….

But the lure of a big club, who probably won’t hesitate to send him out on loan could be a problem for us. The too clubs know how highly he’s rated and what he’s about.

Some might even say being in Man City’s academy is better than first team football for us. I’m not at all, but then a good season with us in the championship and he’ll most certainly be gone.

He won't be able to go on loan until he's 17 I don't think? He's honestly better placed to stay with us and then consider his options ahead of his 17th birthday in July 2026.

He did do his ACL - it takes time to recover and whilst talented we were striving for promotion back to Prem - he will get an opportunity preseason. It might annoy fans but the club have actually managed him back to fitness very well.

if it weren't for GBH FC having a youth team he probably would have

You have to credit Alves for the way he’s come back. Taken to championship football well and having an impact. Where is Caden Voice?

19 this year and still stuck between their under 21s and under 18s

Sadly, the experience of seeing will lose two years of his fledgling career and possibly all of it at the levels he might have reached will make JM leave more quickly and take the dosh

we can make the point that WA suffered his injury in youth football but that doesn’t really hold water

Yeah, to have had that injury, come back and now in the Championship all whilst that p**** is nowhere to be seen.

Hopefully if there is any justice, his career will not get started and he’ll end up in non-league and have to work a normal job which he’d fail at anyway as you can’t behave the way he does in the normal world.

If we had stayed up we might have had a fighting chance. The way it's gone though, we haven't got a prayer.

Just more work down the drain and we might get 4/5m compo in instalments if we're lucky.

I actually think we're much more likely to keep him when we go down. I still don't think we will, but the opportunity for a lot of game time has to go in our favour.

Monga has more league minutes then will Alves for us.
