Good to see Bilal get a start but have to say I am scratching my head somewhat that Ayew starts over Abdul, Skipp dropping out is a strange one too and Ricardo continues to miss out. No Vesty or McAteer involvement in the matchday squad is another strange one.

Pay attention to Ndidi's position. If Everton sit back as much as they have in some games, he will push right up to almost be like another 10/8 like he did last season next to El Khanouss.

 

I would have put Buonanotte into the team instead of Ayew though. Not because Ayew has done badly, but because the way to beat Everton is to move the ball quickly and play between the spaces. And then Fatawu should have come on after 60 to run rings around tired fullbacks.

 

Still overall I am excited to see how our new number 11 plays.

Surprised skipp dropped, but ndidi was excellent last week....a good problem to have. Glad he's gone more attacking and we have good attacking options in the bench.

JJ and Ayew down the right again offering absolutely zero creativity, but its an encouraging step. 

Must win.

Skipp is a strange decision, and I simply will not speak on Ricardo's treatment at the hands of this man anymore because it makes me very cross.
