I'm not even sure he tries to break down teams! Look at our expected goal threat, it's one of the worst in the league. In the video there's an example of how Chelsea attack with 5 players, as we did last season. But this season we attack with 4 at most, and sometimes even fewer, there were multiple examples of us attacking with just 3 players going forwards against Arsenal.

Bournemouth proved last season that as they started attacking teams more often, they conceded less. Cooper needs to take the handbrake off, but it seems like all the managers that come from the English FA setup all favour defence, multiple England U21 and below managers such as Boothroyd, Southgate and Cooper are all cowards.

Which makes the guff about his box midfield 4 joining the striker to attack in a 5 a load of waffle.

Gonna try and take as many positives from this as possible Lose or Draw and we get rid of Cooper (for the love of fxxking Christ!) or we win, get 3 points on the board and things are looking up for a few weeks!

Leicester have taken the joint-fewest shots per game in the Premier League this season, while also conceding a league-high 19.3 shots on average. Their expected goals (xG) is 5.38 is also the lowest of all top-flight teams, suggesting even their relative attacking underperformance has still been technical overperformance.

These are the facts.

No they aren't.

Championship season we beat them twice. Five draws with them in the PL. Two wins for us in the PL, 3 wins for them.

Then the cup win. Hardly a bogey side?

Anyway, that wouldn't go towards the betting markets.

Considering in that time we'd be big favourites in most of those Prem games. Failing to win 8 times out of 10 doesn't exactly scream that we've done well against them.

The usual pre match interview saying just enough of nothing.  Roll on match day where it will be the same singular change, same tactics and formation. Post match excuses and guff.

If this doesn't improve over the next 4 fixtures then it'll be a scandal.

We’re conceding an average of 19.3 shots per game? Assuming 10mins of added time per game, that’s a shot against us every five minutes on average. Golly 😳

Lose this and hes out surely

We don't do things quickly, especially sackings. He will be here until mid November at least, even if we're in the bottom 3.

Unfortunately, money comes into such decisions now.

Playing as negatively as we do will not only limit the number of chances we create, but invite more pressure on ourselves so these both go hand in hand given our style of play, and doesn't exude a winning mentality.

We either change this way of playing or get used to losing or scraping draws... pretty much as we have done so far, and get relegated at the end of the season.

As well as confirmation bias (those people manically calling for sacking after a handful of frankly expected results),
we are also seeing "mission creep", i.e. expectation being raised above pure survival to "must win" against a team like Bournemouth (over double our points total) who some describe as "dogsh*t"!

Had we lost every one or had we picked up one point from seven (remember that?) - then some of the opinions on here may have been justified.

This is clearly not a must win and Bournemouth are clearly not a bad side.

A good performance will gain us a point i think, a win is very unlikely, much less likely than a loss.

As far as Coopers job is concerned,

A win = job safe

Draw = job safe

Loss = job safe

And no amount of wishful posting on here is changing this position for months if at all this season.

Can I please have a job with you as my manager please???

You have such low expectations it’d be brilliant!!

If he starts winning games, I have no issue

The issue is in the plural,Games .

We've got to beat more than the bottom teams to stay up.

I've no issue with Cooper himself.

What I do have an issue with is the way he sets us up and the poor signings. Making survival that much harder.

The 35+ against Arsenal have slapped this up, but it was already bad.
