Actually thought Edourd was coming on for Ndidi. Which should of been done earlier and play 2 up front. No not with this prat. Soumare ffs.
Villa got Emery in with them 3 points above the drop zone. Get him gone asap.
Plenty of better options available.

Please enlighten us.  ( Don't forget the word 'available', it's not like picking your favourite out of a tin of Quality Street.)

Elanga and Hudson Odoi miles ahead of him and Mavididi on last nights showing. Strong, direct, great decision making and balls into the box in good areas.

Yes and unfortunately they don't play for us.

Mavididi and Fatawu are our best options, along way head of BDR and Ayew in my opinion.

Because of the hype, peeps on here make of him.

Looking at our full back options he should’ve played significantly more than zero minutes before last night which ensured he came in undercooked into a big match. It’s not so much hype as in the fact that with our current FB options he should start more often than not because we are so weak in that area. Hes competing with JJ, VK & Thomas ffs.

Think everyone would be a lot more chilled if they adopted my approach. We are shite. The manager is shite. The board and Top have lost their way. Anything other than relegation this season will be a very good achievement.  No amount of angst is going to change things. Cooper is abysmal - but he’s got a poor squad to work with. Last night didn’t even hurt, which says a lot.

Not just that, but we used our 37 year old GOAT (who seems to be playing every game) for a full 90 minutes, which isn't a stategy that can last.

If we saw enough in Edouard to bring him in, it's baffling that he isn't used.

Given that Vardy cannot be Plan A for very long, we desperately need to be giving Edouard minutes - or he'll have splinters in his arse when we actually need him, when Vardy's knackered

Edouard has not so far looked the answer to solving any of our deficiencies.

Pains me to say it, but I thought Forest looked really impressive. They've got that solid base and a really effective front 3. After the initial chaos following promotion, they've recruited well since.

I agree and who was in charge when even we leathered em 4-0

This was a game we could have earned a point from in all fairness if we played our cards right and maybe even a narrow win.

its the manner in which we list that angers me! those kinds of collective clangers only happen if the team did not prepare and arrive with the proper mindset. Did cooper not show the players the humiliating loss last time under rogers at the forest ground?

this was too easy for Forest. We should have made them sweat. Cooper can bigger off if his only excuse is “ this is football oh well”. Not good enough nor acceptable!

farce & JJ need benching.
they have been horrible in games

Not sure about this bit.  I don't think the squad is poor. It's far from great, but on paper at least I think we should come somewhere in the bottom half of the table, but far above enough teams to avoid relegation.

We lack depth upfront, and things aren't clicking in other areas, but given the right tactics and personal, our starting 11 could be strong, and theoretically we have a number of players of reasonable quality to deputy most if not all positions in midfield and (to a lesser extent) defence.

I too am just hoping for survival this season, (like most of us I suspect)and hopefully this will give us a platform to build on next season.

I am seriously worried about the direction the club seems to have been heading for a while now, particularly on the back of so much achievement recently.

It's upsetting to think about the highs of this last decade, then realise right here and now we're not even the top team in the East Midlands (that hurt to write).

Last night hurt me a lot. These local derbies should matter. We should see the passion because the manager should be reminding the players we need to find that extra gear for these games. They (the players) may not hold any fierce rivalry with Forest, Derby, Notts County and the mighty Mansfield (etc.) but they will of course understand how much local rivalry means to fans and need to step up for these games.

If they can't be bothered, or even appear that way, the manager isn't doing his job properly.

Players should seem up to it every game. It's 90 mins. But there should be no doubt you bust a gut in these games. I remember players collapsing to the floor at the end of the match after running their socks off for the whole match.

I'd argue Buonanotte ran like the game meant something to him last night. Not everything he did worked out, it wasn't his best game, but he at least looked like it mattered. And he doesn't have any long term investment in the club (unfortunately). Mads looked amazing again, and it's horrifying to think what the scores in some games this season might be if we had a less able keeper in goal again. So why can't the rest of the team seemingly bust a gut to put in a decent performance for the full 90 minutes???

We MUST see a positive reaction from all the players in the two up coming games against Man Utd and more crucially against Ipswich, which is a game we should be bossing for the full 90 minutes. No excuses!

Just remembered another thing that wound me right up yesterday.

At one point we had a throw in in our left back position in the first half. A quick throw in was one but the ballboy never got off his arse to get the ball and Justin had to go and fetch himself one by which time Forest had marked the quick throw in and boxed us in that corner.

Noticed it for a couple of years now. None of the ball boys ever seem to realise the situation of the game.

It's because they changed the rules and ball boys are no longer allowed to throw the ball to players.

I’m might be out on my own here but I think we should have had that penalty.

I sit in SK1 so wasn’t far away and I’ve just watched it back and Vardy was

definitely pulled back.

Too much over-analysis (as usual) ...

Forget formations, tactics, manager team talks.   ANything

When your players make the sort of basic defensive mistakes that we made last night for all 3 goals ................ you're ****ed.

Very true ... the whole set up is not  premier league ... lovely training ground ... Great stadium ... thr rest of it is lacking ... ffs wake up Top ... get some passion and pride back in the shirt ...  we won't be coming back so easy next time

Is that definitive though. Anywhere else on the pitch, you leg a player up off thr ball or anything and it would be a foul if the ref spotted it. This excuse was given for why Ayew got away with it last weekend and I think it's very ambigious.

Agreed. We didn't look awful imo. We played decently in *general* but small mistakes will kill you at this level. They're better than us as it speaks. I'd like to see Vestergaard play instead of faes.
