So was he shit or not.

On a shitness scale he was less shit than Justin and Okali and equally as shit as Faes. That’s why I’m not sure why you only highlighted him.

They were just too good for us, a level above.  Thoroughly deserved the victory.  Mads and Fatuwa were aptly marked out of the game and defensively we gave such cheap goals.

Ricardo was awful.

On the day Cooper couldnt get the best out of them against a confident Forest team.

We move on, lose to Ipswich, there needs to consequences.

The thing is they weren’t miles ahead of us in terms of quality. They were just better organised. As most people have said we actually had a decent 1st half and the game was fairly even up to HT.

We gave them 3 easy goals due to our inability to defend and recognise team game plans.
Route 1 to Wood, who bullied Faes and Okoli all game, with two quick wingers who cut inside to get a shot away.

I’m sorry but our back 4 were shocking last night. The last goal was Sunday league stuff. All Faes needed to do was block Wood off so Okoli can deal with the ball. He’s an international defender and should be taking charge of that situation.

Justin and Ricardo allowed their wingers inside every time, but not one central midfielder then came in to make a crunching tackle.

It really isn’t that difficult to see and adapt too when that is all they kept doing.

That isn’t down to management that’s down to individual players being unable to make in game decisions.

We need a leader and have needed one since we lost Morgan.

If that’s meant to be Coady then play him so he can sort the lacklustre players out.

If it’s not, sign a nasty b**tard who is a leader on the pitch and will make others accountable.

Spot on - in terms of Forest, it’s paint by numbers but it’s highly effective because defending standards are on the floor in the top flight

Sobering night. First half we were decent but kamikaze at the back for 90mins. Use of the ball was woeful, the mistakes were incredible really! Painful to say it, but Forest look like a good outfit, with a more tactically astute manager and better quality players. First time I’ve had to say that in 25/30yrs! Big game next week

Either way Cooper is to blame. If he gave into fan/player pressure, he clearly doesn't have belief in his own best 11. If he made the changes off his own back, he clearly doesn't have a clue how to play with them. Tactically, we are so disorganised and badly disciplined. That second half was shocking. I have no idea what Cooper's gameplan is and neither do the players. The team that started last night is 10x better than what they showed and that's a massive problem.

We seriously need to work on our defending. We've just conceded 5 goals in 2 matches (and it could easily have been 7 or 8) mainly from defensive lapses (brain farts basically and/or James Justin being shit) what happens when we play a decent side that don't need us to gift them chances to score?!? We're gonna get annihilated.

Sorry, I forgot football was played in 45 mins.

Did you honestly think Forest were miles ahead of us in terms of quality?
I personally, as originally stated, thought they were just better organised.

We’re more than good enough to stay in this division. But we need better organisation through the team. As I said, this is due to in game decisions by players being able to follow the managers gameplan which is captained by a leader on the pitch. We don’t have this.

Thought we did alright first half but once again mistakes cost us

How can Justin still be in the 11 for me

Annoyed to say the least,

Need a lot better showing next weekend or heading should roll(cooper should already imo)

So you'd play Thomas then?

We have played 45 mins well in most games, at best you can say we were competitive in the first half last night, we weren't better, it was more of less even. We certainly weren't that in the second. Forest turned the screw just a little bit and we couldn't even nearly match them. We were crap, against our nearest rivals. As I've said before, we have a fight against 5 or 6 teams near the bottom. But we simply can't compete against the likes of forest.

Important to keep in mind this is a side who have spent €430m since promotion three years ago. In the same timeframe we've invested €160m, while losing the likes of Barnes, Maddison, KDH, Tielemans, Castagne, Fofana.

There seems to be some dismissal here that they have much better players than us.

Injured in training.

Probably but you can never tell with Cooper.

It's plausible he simply expressed an opinion in training.

We all know Vesty doesn't hold back. We've all seen Faes openly berate/debate the manager on the pitch. Winks was dropped for questionable reasons. Edit; Mavididi another who clearly hasn't bonded with the manager

Their line up last night cost roughly £12 million more than ours.

Sacking Rodgers too late has set us back so far

Put us back 5 years at least

“Set back” suggests some sort of delay in our progress.

It was way more than that. It ended all progress. It put us back.

As a fanbase we really need to realise the golden age of Leicester City is over. It’s gone. We blew it in the most disgusting way possible and we’ve reverted back to the mean: a provincial yo-yo club at absolute best.

Imagine having what we had and pissing it away.

Rodgers is absolutely to blame and the board were, and are totally complicit.

Just dire. The defending was just abysmal, organisation all over the place, attack barely functioned. Next week is pivotal; lose it and we are bang in trouble.

We are too easy to play against for long periods.

And I agree but I don’t think it was like watching Man City vs Burton.

We just seemed to fold after they scored early doors second half and we were still in the changing rooms. Unfortunately it seemed like nobody wanted to step up and lead to snap us out of it.

Hope Cooper doesn't abandon Enzo ball. We've only played that system for one and a half games. For 90 minutes over the last two games there were some positive signs. Of course in the second half yesterday they stopped Winks playing plus they adjusted their defence and top of that we made stupid mistakes. We just have to cut out the errors and work out a way to still play the system when the opposition nullifies Winks.

The main thing last night showed me was that Cooper is incapable of thinking on his feet during the game.

We surprised them (and us) with Ricardo playing as an inverted full-back so with Ndidi pushing up and Buenanotte playing as an 8/10 (the KDH role) it was a near to Enzoball as we could get with the available players.  It took him the first half to work it out but when they came out after the break they had adapted and we were as toothless as I have seen us all season.  He had already put 3 players on Fatawu and Buenanotte from the start which must have left a man over somewhere else.  The obvious get out for this is to shift the ball quickly through Pereira/Winks/Ndidi but we just kept on going down the rabbit hole on the right.

Their goals were individual errors rather than tactical ones that were can’t really lay at Cooper’s door but the lack of flexibility going forward we absolutely can.

Evenly matched in the first half but Forest were impressive throughout - painful though it is to admit that.

They were stronger, more cohesive and man for man, more skilful. They’ve recruited brilliantly..

Another unpalatable fact: notwithstanding his goals, Wood was far more effective in the game than Vardy - who once again gave up possession over and over again.

Nuno made one change at h/t - his midfield gave Winks snd Pereira less chance to play out than in the first half. We had no answer and there was no tactical response from the bench.

The irritating thing continues to be the pathetic mistakes we make at the back. It's the sort of thing you mess up on a Sunday league level.

The bouncing and hacking of the ball to be cleared away was comical
