One point to consider - we were as bad against Chelsea in the FA Cup last year under Enzo, in a game that seems to have effectively ended Raheem Sterling’s career.

That first 35 minutes was disgusting. Not too sure why we took until then to have a go as Chelsea's biggest weakness is at the back.

This is it for me. We look like a Championship side because we have a Championship manager. BEK, Mavididi, Winks, Okoli, Mads and (in fits and starts at his age) Vardy are Premier League players. A good manager with decent transfer business in January such as a loanee winger and a decent striker transforms this side.

There was no switch here, we didn't turn it on after 35 minutes. They just took the foot off the gas at 35 minutes.

Call me old fashion, but the CBs push up like an old fashion goal kick rather than offering the short we don't conceded that goal.

Reasonable end to the half. Probably takes 30 minutes to get rid of Coopers game plan. Come on Coops - you've got 15 minutes to drain any sense of hope out of the players.  I fully expect him to sub El Khannouss off for having the nerve to be creative.

When VK got beat by Madueke after being 3 yards ahead of him was some of the worst 1 v 1 defending I have seen in a long time.

Apart from that five minutes spell, they look like a team already relegated. Poor body language, not enjoying the game, silly bookings, just look like they want the game to be over. 

 

We simply have to replace Cooper to stand any chance this season.

It does’t look if Cooper devised any sort of plan to even compete

They experienced no threat or ambition from us and so got a bit sloppy combined with us being a goal down so eventually the cowardly "tactics" get thrown out the window in favour of actually having some pride in yourself.

Would not be surprised in the slightest if we come back out and play scared football while there's only a goal in it and try to nick an equaliser in the final 5 or 10.  Cooperball!

Chelsea will probably kill us off well before that though.
