I couldn't even tell you what Cooper was trying to do. If he was trying to park the bus, then play 5 at the back and embrace it. Instead we tried to defend but helped Chelsea out by making James Justin run out of position as often as possible.

Take personal opinions out of it, purely from a coaching perspective he makes obvious errors that others will pick up on. In this game, Maresca changed the way Chelsea played so that Cucurella joined as a winger in attack, where usually he plays as either a CDM or number 8. In other words, Maresca used Steve Cooper's system against him. Yet Chelsea looked well coached and clinical whereas Leicester... embarrased themselves.

Same. Spent that game trying and failing to work out what the he the plan was. Same in every game this season.

As long as Cooper is the manager of this club, we are heading in one direction only.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. He has brought nothing - NOTHING - positive to the team (I challenge anyone to counter that claim). No player has improved from last season, several have got worse, and his sole tactic appears to be ‘defend and hope’.

Jamie Vardy, we know you are as annoyed as we are, so can you please ruffle a few feathers upstairs and get him gone. Tonight would be nice.

Agree, he's regressed so many players to the extent that Soumare's now our best players.

Quite a few grumbles from the people around me, becoming more apparent to everyone he is out of his depth. Apart from the last 5 minutes of the first half it was so poor. And of course nothing will change and we’ll limp to another defeat next week. Make the change now to give us any chance. And of course we know that will not

happen. Just so deflating.

Someone said to me at half time and they’re spot on. It’s as if Cooper tells them to go out and try their best and that’s it. Nothing tactical and nothing different.

That is broadly his entire managerial career, Swansea and forest were the same, keep it tight, stay in a game and a work hard, see if we catch a break.

He’s whole game plan is whoever we’re playing is get to 60 mins and have a go. Such a negative tactically clueless manager. Get rid.

Nothing has really changed from the pre season games where he just playing players out of position and justifying it as giving them game time.  This rolled on into the season along with bizarre tactics and player choices, no in game management and subs often too late to change the game.

Leaving attacking players on the bench and replacing them with other attacking players out of position, then filling that gap with Ndidi.  He struggles to do the basics yet Cooper expects him to have the ability in moments and positions that require intelligence, skill and/or finesse.

Somehow he sets them up to be defensive by not being attacking, yet at the same time having no defensive structure.

I took my son who tried to get himself put up for adoption midway through the first half, which I respected, before he remembered we're going bowling later and perked up a bit.

I mean, it was crap, but probably slightly less crap than I expected, given the team we're able to put out. For me it just looks like a squad of average players putting in average performances - it's a situation where you really need things to be greater than the sum of their parts, for players to be playing out of their skins. Instead, they're playing very much within their skins and the result is literally the sum of its parts and nothing more

Copied and pasted my last post v Man U..."saw the team announcement and immediately saw us “sitting back, creating nothing, conceding”.

Cooper's job is to 'inspire' and he just isn't doing that. The negative setup is reflected on the pitch.  We'll be bottom three in the next couple of weeks.

Wolves and Palace winning..... I think with him in charge we are the worst team in the league. Our easier run of games has papered over the cracks for sure!

It’s manners mate, you usually kick the ball out when there’s a man down. Chelsea carried on and score from that side where JJ would’ve been.

I’m not saying at all that they weren’t the better team, they clearly were and a point would’ve been incredibly lucky for Leicester, but Chelsea were poor and relied on shithousing because they didn’t have the quality to completely kill the game.

Not quite sure where you have watched your football but had that been a Leicester break the vast majority would be spitting feathers and righty so.

Again not sure what game you were watching but Chelsea were in total and utter cruise control save a few isolated incidents Leicester offered little to nothing going forward  if you couldn’t  see that the chasim in class and  the fact that Chelsea simply didn’t need to play with any greater intensity then you clearly have fallen into the same trap as Cooper who is in complete denial

Winks going off early didn’t help. A poor midfield pairing of Soumare and Ndidi doesn’t help at all as neither of them are playing well ,and to hear Fats will be out for the rest of the season is all we wanted.

EVERYTHING about today sums up where we are as a club.

Lacklustre, boring, uninspiring like the manager.

Dont start saying sh2t about bad reading and we could have hot a 2-2 on another day, we deserved feck all.

AGAIN the best chance going to Ndidi who is as sh1t infront of goal as Daka.

Chelsea rarely got out of 3rd gear it was embarrassing  and like a training game.

Atmosphere  is absolutely  woeful because of the sh1t on the pitch and our John Major Manager.

Get him out, get someone in who can inspire bothered the players and the fans.

Foxes never quit?

This club has quit.

A load of w@nk.

Have a great weekend

We looked like an under 7’s team first twenty five minutes. No organisation or control. Just kept booting the ball back to them. Another individual mistake for a goal. Lost count the amount of times we went to break. Stopped and went back. Two refs decision’s went against us that could’ve had a big impact on the game. Other than the penalty no shots on target. Poor.

And one for us when wilf put 6 studs down Palmers achilles.
