The writing was on the wall since pre season. Looked like a second choice desperation pick when he arrived, and not one performance in his entire tenure looked like a well coached, prepared team delivering a solid 90 minutes.

 

Hopefully the club spend more than 5 minutes on due diligence for the next candidate, instead of falling for some shit like Jesse Marsche because he did a good PowerPoint presentation.

Every performance has the sense of a coach who had just started working with a side - not one who had been there for 5 months.

Honestly, this is such a relief. Sounds silly, but even with all the uncertainty this naturally brings, I now have more hope for our club this season.

Should never have been appointed. Never felt right. It's not cause for celebration as a man has lost his job and wish him all the best elsewhere but he's way off being good enough at this level in my honest opinion.

 

Surprised the board ha e acted, even though it absolutely is the right decision.

Rob Kelly and Craig Levein did better jobs comparatively speaking with their circumstances and resources. 
 

He ranks alongside Bassett in joint second behind Taylor, for me. Thats in terms of the modern era

He's lost his job but will be compensated  massively. Cooper's on the big tins!

I think Sousa was probably worse, but not much in it.

  I've posted before I don't see the hype with the bloke, and his bland style will send me to sleep.

Our current team IMO doesn't suit his or any manager with a methodical build up play, especially in the premier league where our team lacks the quality for it to work. EnzoBall worked ok until it was sussed out during the 2nd half of our Championship season and we started to spaff the lead we had created.

 

I will say it's surprised me the club has actually acted this"early" by their standards, so they may surprise us again with the appointment of a progressive manager and not the obvious choices like Moyes, Potter etc that we are are continuing to post on these threads..
