Moyes is old hat, despite winning the conference league their league form over the last two season was abysmal.

He's also performed badly at Man U, Sociedad and Sunderland. One of those managers who sometimes does well, but often doesn't.

Maybe our best option, but that doesn't say a lot.

Moyes would be a great appointment, not sure i agree that the playing style is that poor under him, it’s not tippy tappy but his West Ham side weren’t the worse side to watch.

i think he would come in stabilise us and make us competitive again.

What a load of drivel, did you ever see Brighton play under Potter

Press was top notch, movement top notch

I remember going to the Amex when Potter was their manager and they absolutely skull****ed us.

None of these in any particular order:
Priority:
- Urs Fischer (Fantastic job at Union Berlin)

- Moyes (Speaks for himself, incredible job at West Ham, would steady the ship, and is an old school manager who prefers to oversee all areas of the club, which is what we need with the clown show upstairs)

- Sergio Conceicao (unlikely but should be a priority)
- Franck Haise (Fantastic job at Lens, currently at Nice)

- Ruud Van Nistelrooy (not completely sold, had a big falling out in Netherlands, and had a good record at United interim but wasn't completely sold by them, hard to judge him)
- Potter (not too fussed at all, better than Cooper, doesn't excite me)

Interesting outsiders:
- Henrik Rydstrom (Malmo manager, studied Marcelo Bielsa and has said his style is to try to "create chaos" with fast attacking play.

- Lucien Favre (Decent record and plays attractive, fast paced football)

- Danny Rohl (Overall has done a phenomenal job but they are struggling for consistency, had a great new manager bounce and have slightly stepped off the gas a bit, but their club makes Top look like the second coming of christ)

Very unlikely (desperate):
- Andoni Iraola - Genuinely think he's one of the most exciting young managers in Europe. Unlikely to want to leave but we probably offer a bigger short term prospect than Bournemouth before he inevitably moves to a bigger European club.
- Terzic
- Seb hoeneß (took over Stuttgart in the relegation zone, saved them, took them to 2nd and a champions league spot, failed to reach those heights this season)

Those wanting Moyes. It will be the same football we play under him!

I'm hoping we go for someone like Ruud or Potter!

I’m not a particular Moyes fan, but this is a spectacularly ill-informed opinion.

You can’t Compare Moyes to Cooper…. Cooper is nowhere near the quality of coach Moyes is.

I don’t entirely agree Finners…. Whereas Moyes isn’t a sexy appointment, I think he’s fairly safe. I think he definitely keeps us up…. We will probably play your strengths and see a more transitional based attack. But I think he sorts that defence out. He pragmatic, but he’s proven pragmatic unlike Cooper.

Is setting up to defend all game every game regardless of opposition when you've got some of the most talented and exciting attacking players outside of the elite clubs at your disposal - Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen etc. - especially pragmatic?

Not a Moyes fan, but there is no way he will be telling James Justin to move up field leaving us totally exposed behind him.

I am secretly hoping our sources are wrong, but hearing it from multiple people now.

I was there as well, totally battered us, and even when they was cruising they never stopped, there fitness levels was unreal

if they had a decent striker they would have finished a lot higher

Moyes would likely drop Justin on day 1 and play Ricardo like probably 99% of managers in the league lol

I’m sorry but I just don’t understand all the people saying moyes would be a good fit for Leicester.

I'm not sure people are specifically looking for a "good fit", more that he will play to our strengths and get the most out of each player and get us working as a unit. Which will likely immediately improve us by a big amount, Moyes would keep us up imo, but I won't be too excited by the football. So it's not to say other managers might not do a better job, but that Moyes is likely to pose less of a risk.

Moyes is a cracking manager did a wonderful job at Preston, Everton and West Ham, unfairly treated at Man Utd in my opinion and not given a fair crack at what was always going to be a near impossible job of replacing Sir Alex, Sunderland and Sociedad were blots but over a long career there will always be the odd blip, he will be a very good and sound appointment,

much like Puel he will steady the ship, stabilise us and over 2/3 seasons hopefully re-establish us as a Premier League club.

Could see it being Potter. Ruud would be an interesting and possibly inspired shout - might not though, risky. Moyes would certainly steady the ship. However the timing of this and Jose’s declaration about wanting to manage a lower end Prem side is interesting. Probably nothing but it wouldn’t surprise me if Top when Johnny BB’s
