It feels like one thing to the next with this.

Sadly, to me it just feels like the same thing repeated ….. a depressing lack of leadership across the whole operation. 😞

If Everton are the turd that just won't flush, what have we become?

The turd that reaches for the lever and flushes itself?

That Rudkin and Top may not know who to go for, now.

Oh FFS, just get Ruud. If they are looking at Carsley because that jug eared twat mentioned his name then I'm going to hunt him down and end his BBC days even earlier than planned.

So let's recap:

The board didn't want to hire Cooper in the first place but did so anyway for some reason.

THEN the board already had concerns about PSR and decided to hand Cooper a 3 year deal instead of a 1+x type Situation (if Cooper wouldn't have agreed to this we should have just called his bluff, who the **** is gonna hire him).

And if that wasn't bad enough, with a candidate in place none of them (bar Rudkin obviously) wanted they didn't think a potential replacement incase of a sacking that could very well come would be handy? Didn't we ****ing learn ANYTHING from Brendan?

This is a nice idea in theory but I don't think it would work in practice. Players already have far more job security and earn more money than managers which makes commanding respect from the squad difficult enough as it is. Add in a yearly rolling contract and they'd just be treated like a supply teacher.

If a manager did do well you'd also expose yourself even more to them being poached (at least we got compo for Enzo) or having to give them a long contract anyway as they would have all the leverage. Fanbases wouldn't stand for clubs letting a talented manager walk away either.

Friend of said this morning that he thinks it'll be Frank Lampard!

Made me smile.

Like my previous post regarding if Southgate was offered the position... If Lampard joins it's sabbatical time for me.

The bloke is diabolical as a manager. IOM no better than Cooper

It does feel like that would be a credible thing that could happen.

I was really impressed that they managed to have the balls and sack cooper and had hope that they were becoming a but more serious..but all the reports coming out are painting a picture of more clowning around.

I appreciate it's a big decision and they've got to get it right, but I can't believe they've start the search fresh this week

Is that because our main target has rejected us or because someone new has thrown their hat into the ring?

Don't know.

But they were very keen on Potter again.

Hamburg are also talking to van nostrils!

it’s now looking like we better get him or we’re gonna be up shite creek without a paddle!

I did wonder whether Potter had decided he was finally up for it and it has caused a rethink

Not so bad if that's the case.

I swear this football club is ran by clowns. The answer is simple, give the job to either Maurizio Sarri or Roberto Mancini, both are currently without clubs and better then every option that has been linked so far.

I've never claimed to be ITK, but I've heard from a friend that Ruud is likely going Germany and we're now looking to appoint Lee Carsley.

Don't shoot the messenger.

How incompetent this club is promised us fans that a appointment would be made before the Brentford game #fans getting impatient

We don't play Brentford until Saturday and it's Wednesday - at least wait until then

If that's the case, then hope Albrighton will be his Assistant.
