An interesting out of work candidate has rocked up at Seagrave, says he has been studying the styles and image of Pep and promises an exciting modern fluent style of football whilst looking cool and suave (but still utilising Bobby Decordova Reid)

And it’s a case of, sort yourselves out. Because of the financial rules we need to adhere to, we can only get free agents. So don’t be expecting big money arrivals just because you don’t like someone. That sort of thing.

Out of work doesn’t mean crap. At some point every manager will fail and get sacked outside the couple of ultra elites.

This is weird.

 

Other point is.... we live in a world where everyone has a smartphone.   If clubs let players organize a party then this is what happens. 

 

For the record, i thought the party video was shocking  ....  no drugs, excessive booze or party girls (or boys).... made our squad look like monks

I'm wondering if the players had said their ideal person but is in a job, so Top told them straight. Only reason I can think of

Is it just me that wonders if this kind of player inclusion in a managerial decision only happens at our club? 

 

Does Top still not have much of a clue?

Is it not more likely that rather than saying to the players "whoever the new manager is will be someone for whom we don't have to pay compensation", which I agree would be quite an odd thing to do, Top simply told them who the new manager is going to be and Percy either doesn't know or has been instructed by his source/the club/whoever is briefing him not to say who it is?

But this is where I see Top taking control. Sacking cooper, telling the players straight, leading recruitment. He's taking control that we all called for, let's be honest. 

 

Might be completely off the mark, but with the press leaks its all around top doing this and that. Not his minions. It's almost like the club are saying Top is in charge and sorting the mess.

That is quite possible. But I think we all agree it's a strange thing to say AND to leak
