Not 100% sold on this.

He's done well in positions where you're expecting a half decent manager to do well - PSV is a bit of a gimme and a Man U team facing us twice.

Underwhelming at Jong PSV and taking this role on isn't going to be a cakewalk.

I'm just stating what Top may want....not what I want...you forget that he's also an ex prem manager which is high on Tops criteria

RVN or Corberan and I'll be reasonably happy tbh. Think Ruud's got something about him. Did a good job with PSV during the time when Slot was smashing it left, right and centre with Feyenoord. Seemed to be able to get a tune out of United in those couple of games he had with them too. I think the football would certainly be more attractive. Corberan's the one we should have appointed in the summer tbf.

You just know it's going to be RVN .....Top loves a big name

Please no. He has done nothing at all in any way to warrant a perm premier league job. Massive no from me, might turn out to be the next pep but currently nothing to suggest that’s the case

Yeah I'm aware.

My order of preference would be :

Potter

Moyes

RvN

We're not attractive enough to poach anymore but I wouldn't be adverse to Daniel Farke. I think his Leeds team play attractive football.

Okay. So two names out of the frame. It is a bit of a worry that there is no shoe in candidate. I thought we would have named someone today. RVN a risk. West Brom manager not great. Robins, Alladyce and Dyche when he gets the bullet are next. Let's just hope these are not names because I am not thrilled by them.

Just stating what Top probably wants...not what I may want.. I'm neutral I haven't looked deeply at anyone

Those wanting Corberan or Carrick.

They've achieved nothing at their respective clubs. Absolutely nothing.

Ball knowledge is in the minuses on this one I’m afraid.

According radio leicester they understand Moyes and Potter are not going to be considered for the job. Is it going to RVN... sounds interesting

Probably means that it’s gonna be Moyes or Potter then

Sunderland?

I get that he's got a lot of experience, but we shouldn't forget that he'll still be a gamble. His spells at Man U, Sunderland and Sociedad did not end well. And there were times at Everton and West Ham when things were a bit iffy.

That said, bring in a top class defender/fb in January, and Moyes should have enough nous to keep us up.

TBF I'd totally forgotten Sunderland was even on his CV but to cut him a bit of slack they'd entered their basket case era by that point. Think 15 decent years at West Ham and Everton outweigh that one year.

No doubt if he gets appointed it will get mentioned he once threatened to slap Vickie Sparks.

As annoying as it is being used as a stepping stone, you need a manager that aims to be the best in the world eventually. 100% had it with Enzo. 100% didn't with Cooper. RVN could be a great managerial signing. He will be aiming for big things

What suggests that they've got the nauce to be able to get us out of a relegation battle?

Potter's got something to prove because of his sacking by Chelsea....when he actually started to improve them as a team
