Too short notice for the Brenford game. I think he will watch the game from the stands and take charge for the westham game, which curically it is a home game, where he will be presented to the home fans🏆🏆🏆

I've been doing some more research for tonight's show and there's a lot to like about Ruud. That said, it must be said that the season after he left, Den Bosch came in and smashed the league with a fantastic style, changing the team to be a much higher pressing and front footed one. But it seems like Ruud laid the foundation work for that success.

Ruud does a lot of "Dutch" things, IE the use of a 433, groups of 3's and passing triangles, all of which is a joy to watch. He likes fast transitions, but doesn't seem as suicidal as Ten Hag was. My gut feeling is he will play a bit of a "diet coke" version of Maresca's system, which I think will suit all parties down to the ground. It also seems like he was very good at improving certain players, especially on the finishing side, which coudl really benefit Mavididi, Fatawu (when back) and Daka.

If there is to be similarities with his PSV system, then that could benefit Mavididi especially in a number of ways, if Ruud uses him like he used Bakayoko at PSV, then Mavididi is going to become a crucial player for us, even more so now Fatawu is out.

As I said already regarding Xavi Simons role at PSV, along with Guus Till too who in the second half of the season was very much used as an ‘8’ in a 4-3-3 or the ‘10’ in a 4-2-3-1, either of those roles would suit Buonanotte and El Khannouss perfectly.

The only concern I have is with the defence and how he may operate certain players. Justin of course is capable of doing the inverted CB role or the bombing full-back role, despite his form being a bit rough this season, we need him to stay fit until we get to January. He could well use either Faes or Okoli as an inverted centre back too, but once January comes around, if we are to see similarities to his PSV setup, a new inverted centre back and a new full-back already seem priority positions imo.

Absolutely.

I was listening to the messiah Simon Jordan on Talksport, and he slipped in that he hadn't watched much of Leicester this season, but then happily went on to lambast the decision to sack Cooper. What a tit.

Oh god not him too. Can we get anybody? I usually quite like him. I remember him being really good when Mahrez was being a tit.

Will be announcing tomorrow. If we get the likely beating off of Brentford it won’t be anything to do with Ruud and we start a fresh with West Ham.

Exactly what Coventry have done with Lampard. Didn’t want his opening games to defeats vs Sheff Utd and Burnley!

Why you gotta be so Ruud?

Don't you know I'm human too?

Why you gotta be so Ruud?

You're gonna manage us anyway

(Manage our club) manage us anyway

(Manage our club) yeah, no matter what you say

(Manage our club) and we'll be a family

Why you gotta be so Ruud?

Leicester fans now: “Great appointment”

Leicester fans as soon as we go two without a win: “Such negative football”

”He’s got no Plan B”

”I’m tired of Ruud-ball”

He will get longer as his stature in the game, and his more attractive looks will buy him good faith.

Who we will blame when relegated, who knows.

This is by far my biggest concern about RVN.

Passive mid blocks being happy to let the opposition pass around you.

Literally my least favourite thing to watch.

What’s the delay then?

Not ITK or anything but have heard from a poster here (not naming) that Lee Carsley turned up at Seagrave thinking he could just persuade Rudkin with bagels. Top's having second thoughts.
