Put a vote out to ask was it wise to employ ex Forest Manager and would you like to employ Forest Managers in the future I’m sure your right mate 👍😂

I suppose it would depend on the individual really, whether he'd been previously sacked by them or moved on of his own volition. A few years ago O'Neil got sacked by Forest, would we have had him back in preference to some of the others we've had?

Good job Forest didn't refuse Cloughie just because he'd been at Derby County eh? What about Nuno now instead of Cooper or Van Nistleroy just because he's been at Forest?

I’d be happy with Neil Warnock to be honest with you. Get him in and let Ruud go.

I’ve never seen a group of players who needed to hear this speech more in my life.

Get him in. Id genuinely take him for the rest of the season right now.

RVN might want to do some of that praying then as it results in more points, more goals scored and less conceded.

3 more points including a game against the only side worse than us, and a side we're tied on points with. it'd be fair to suggest that the more points is because he had a slightly easier set of fixtures. Like, compare directly the games they both took charge of (Spurs, Fulham, Villa, Palace, Everton, Arsenal):

Cooper W0, D3, L3, PTS 3, G8, GA12

RVN W1, D0, L5, PTS 3, G3, GA13

the points haul is the same, fewer goals scored yes. more goals conceded just, however that is pretty much entirety the difference of playing a well coached Everton side Vs Dyches Everton, who'd conceded at least 3 in every game before us (we didn't even manage 3 shots on target). Cooper was abysmal points wise, no better than RVN once fixture difficulty is accounted for

Or Chris Wood at Forest because he played for us

Depends how passionate you are about hating Forest , personally I’m not bothered as I live in Nottingham and it’s a friendly rivalry for me but to some it’s full on hatred towards them and anyone connected. That’s football for you.

I also don't buy the forest thing. For me it was nothing to do with Forest why I didn't want him/warm to him.

Cooper made 2 big mistakes(other as well) in his time here and if he didn't make them he might still be here.

1. Not playing Ricardo

2. No playing/Persisting with Fatawu

More so the Ricardo point, JJ was in poor form, last season Ricardo alongside KDH was probably our best players.

I also don't think Ruud is great either, but was willing to give him a chance at the time. Its all a bit if a mess.

You're absolutely right. Im so sick of people saying "it was due to the forest connection". It's just lazy. I had an argument with several fans and I made the point that it was bad in preseason and to watch our games. I also pointed out that one of our best ever captains was a Forest player and O'Neill had forest connections too and we love them!

Please, you do realise Ricardo has been injured all season?  As well as Fatawu, albeit a cameo 2nd half at Southampton.

No he hasn’t, he was on the bench until November. Got injured at Ipswich. 2 games before cooper left. Fatawu Was fit most of the time Cooper was here too. Sure it was during international break before chelsea game he got injured.

All well and good but as others has pointed out Spurs were at full strength first game of the season they were missing 13 players when we beat them

I'm pretty sure Enzo gave the credit to Glover for the Fatawu signing.

And if Enzo had had his way we'd probably now be stuck with Sensi on an astronomical wage (who by the way can barely get a kick for lowly Monza atm).

But on the other hand, maybe £2m Sensi would mean that we don't buy £25m Skipp.

The NottsF connection was only really going to be a problem if he was poor. And he was.

Away games to date record below.

Rvn

1 0 4 4 14

Cooper

1 2 3 9 14

“Like, compare directly the games they both took charge of (Spurs A, Fulham H, Villa A, Palace H, Everton A H, Arsenal H”

Even then you could argue Fulham and Palace at home where the most favourable fixtures out of that small sample group when the fixtures came out

“the points haul is the same, fewer goals scored yes. more goals conceded just, however that is pretty much entirety the difference of playing a well coached Everton“

But it’s not just down to playing Everton
You make allowances for the Everton results, yet don’t make any for the Spurs team missing player's and having 1 win in 10 going into the game and being below us in the form book.

You also fail to mention the Arsenal team missing 4 key front players Saka, Jesus, Havertz, Martenili

Horses for courses, they are both wank but statistically one is doing worse. Defensively, Attacking, points per match, Home and away.

I keep saying this, said it when he was sacked and got told nonsense. Same as Rafa at Everton

That article doesn’t even pretend to have any inside info. It speculates that RVN’s time may nearly be up because our results have been horrendous and then further speculates that if RVN were sacked, Dyche might be a candidate because he’s out of work. It reads like it was written by an intern who was told to write a story about Leicester to generate some traffic but couldn’t be arsed to make any phone calls.

Shocked he is still here. Either the club should’ve got rid or he should’ve walked. What he is doing here, god knows.

It’s even harder to be involved with the club with absolute no one to get behind. **** Top, Rudkin, RVN. All

need to leave but they all hang around like a bad smell.

I seriously cannot believe how crap Ruud is.

He seems to be hanging on in there for his pay off which moves him into total cnut territory.

Just xxxx off and take your non exist staff with you

That's just a guesswork. Typical football insider article. It says a lot without saying anything.

I know it'll be rubbish. It's absolutely pointless the club pulling the trigger, and it's pointless for ruud to walk. It'll be stale mate till the end of the season. Ruud might tout himself for a better job and we'll consider our options, in the meantime they'll pretend he's the choice for next season
