Yeah can imagine Golding will be walking 10ft tall after that......

Home debut is a clear message from the manager that you are in contention to be a regular player for the first team, his appearance in terms of contribution was insignificant, to be on the pitch will make him feel confident would be my guess

You do wonder if these players would make the bench with Cordova Reid, Fatawu and Mavididi available though.

It's something that these youngsters have to consider over the summer is that senior players will always get preferential treatment.

I'd imagine he's happy to get on even for a minute, still a massive moment for any kid.

He gets the most infinitesimal piece of credit for me for doing it because it has taken him WAY too long to finally give even one of them some decent game time

And lets be honest the only reason they got some good game time or were even on the bench was because of injuries - because he wasn’t doing it until today when he basically had no choice

Both good points!

With the current quality  trajectory of last two managerial hires, would far rather they fixed the recruiters before replacing Ruud

(this does not mean I don’t want him replaced before anyone see’s what they want to see)

They need to do both.

Can't keep a manager who side broke the record for the most home games without a goal.

That was my point. He won’t be in the EPL next season, so they might. lol

This result changes nothing for me, only reason Monga, Evans and Golding are anywhere near the first team is because of the injuries, nothing else. If Ruud was serious about our young talent and the ‘future’ he would have jettisoned shite like Faes, Soumare, VK, Ayew, BDCR, Daka etc from the squad a few weeks back, he would have also given genuine opportunities and significant game time to the likes of Monga, Evans, Golding, Aluko, Braybrooke, Cartwright, Page etc.

Look at today perfect opportunity to start one of Monga or Evans and he starts Ayew …what do we learn from that, he could have filled the bench with youth instead we have a bench half full of complete willy pullers.

Just get him gone, bite the bullet pay him off and start the rebuild. Let him leave on a bit of a high with a win. But please if he was serious about blooding players for next season, today was the perfect opportunity and he couldn’t be arsed.

I think this is another false dawn against one of the worst clubs in premier history. If we beat Forest away, I might sit up but to be honest you can’t ignore RVNs record over the last 5 months. We need a change IMO

We will prob keep him now.

Football is so fickle, from us fans, players and board. If we draw at Forest and beat Ipswich I think he stays!
