The buck stops with whoever is in charge of recruitment for both managers and players, who i assume is Rudkin. Doesnt matter who is in charge. They are on a hiding to nothing.

This summer we've signed Okoli (doesnt play). Skipp (doesn't play). BDR (doesn't play). Eduard (doesn't play). We employed a manager in Cooper who should have been nowhere near this club. Ruuds now expected to work miracles.

We are shit. The club is run by *****. **** em.

Agreed. Zero guilt whatsoever this year not renewing my membership

Amen, I was already without hope when we sold KDH and Enzo in the summer, absolute madness, we are weaker now than when we were in the second tier. We deserve to go down, not only for the dire football on the pitch, but the even worse decision making off it that got us to this point.

More or less every high level decision taken for years now has just been managed decline, and to say “managed” is probably very generous.

You cannot be serious, being wrong is not a terminal condition you know? Ayew has not been a bad signing and he was instrumental in our goal.

He’s not a bad signing, but better utilised as a sub

Judge him after January.

Today was yet another game lost by an individual error by a player who is past his sell by date.

The quality and depth of this squad right now just reeks of Championship.

Is this all because we did not start Facundo? (Who was shite when he came on)

We have been utterly awful all season. I wouldn't have had either of these managers but I don't see anyone keeping this rubbish up.

We are on the same points at this stage as we were in Jan 2015. The major difference being the team in 2015 had bags of characters, this team doesn’t.

Out of interest, how do you predict we’d have faired had Chelsea not poached Enzo?

You can't survive in the premier league without a squad of premier league players, and we just haven't got that.

If we don't bring in three players this window that go into the first 11, Ruud should walk and I wouldn't blame him.

Unfortunately, if we want to enjoy our football club, he’s no choice but to keep us up. If we go down, I genuinely believe we will sink to the depths that the likes of Bolton and Pompey did.

There’s future of this club it potentially looking very, very dark.

It’s all, ifs, buts, and maybes isn’t it. Fact is, if everything else had gone exactly the same under RVN, as it has, apart from we’d beaten Wolves at home, I’d genuinely be very happy.

I think we would have been better going forward and the likes of Mavididi and Fatawu heavily involved. Defence needed overhauling whoever was in charge. A struggle but some better performances than the meagre amount we have had.

I would have expected a better transfer window. That has really helped to drag us down.

On the plus side that's many of this squads level.

Unfortunately (Or fortunately!) by the time we get there all their contracts will have expired.

It already is. Being in the Premier League doesn't make this enjoyable.

Just a higher level of grim.

It's obvious we need to strengthen, but we won't be signing the 6-7 first team players who will change our fortunes in January, we will be lucky to get 3 permanent signings and a loan deal whilst sending back Edouard IMO.
Ultimately, Ruud is going to have to improve what we have as well as signing a few players.
There is no point signing 3-4 quality signings on premier league wages if players are getting worse. A couple of players have improved, most have been just as bad if not worse.
