You can’t play Coady in a back 4, I’d argue he struggles in a back 5 these days. Okoli is injured. It will have to be Faes alongside Vesty despite the shocking lack of effort in the 3 games purely because there’s no one better available. Hopefully RVN will put a rocket up him. I agree with everything else.

It's actually not a bad situation for RvN as he won't get the flack for not immediately turning this around. Everyone recognises the poor quality that he's inherited and will be a hero if he can make a silk purse out of it by avoiding relegation.

We are struggling big time.  Defensively we are all over the shop.  How Faes plays international football for Belgium is beyond me.  He has to be one of the worse centrebacks who has ever played for LCFC.  A position by the way like goalkeeper we are normally associated with being good at.

I've got absolutely no hope of getting anything out of this. RVN won't have any time to implement anything so I feel it'll be the same old shit. 

 

Maybe change the personnel and hope for a shithouse performance. 

We're absolutely miles off the required level. Our squad is chocka full of Champo level players.

On a side note, I genuinely can’t believe how many on here are including Bouba in their starting 11’s.

 

As someone else posted, every game he has started, we’ve lost….he is not the answer and genuinely hope Winks is fit enough to feature.

That's the thing, and I'd rather not see Justin and Faes, but the alternatives don't really correct the issue,  and I can see Ruud wanting to get that back 4 working before he then makes changes.
