Love Big Nige, love to see him as D.O.F at some point. Still very highly regarded at the Club.

Great call - We need to get some of the legends back involved with our club to change this mediocrity to poor performance being continually acceptable

The greatest.

I give it 5 minutes until someone replies to this saying "surely that's Claudio or Rodgers"

On a Podcast a while ago with Big Sam, he mentioned he had a neurological issue that needed rehab.

Glad he's on the way up. Such a lovely bloke, and a hero to many of us.

You can't beat winning trophies, and those two both delivered us major trophies we thought we'd never win, but none of it is possible without Pearson's work in the first place (twice).

Big love to Nigel and best wishes with the recovery process, must be absolutely awful and however big and powerful a man he may be, it must be as scary as hell to deal with. Hope he's able to get better 🙏

In my mind, he shouldn't be 61 years old

Glad he's on the mind, it's a shame he isn't able to use his skills in leadership currently. Got to be a role he can still do for us if he wanted it.

Not sure what was more emotional at the Bristol City game last season, Kingy crying on his lap at the end or Nigel clearly in discomfort raising his crutch to the Kop. Get well soon Nige.

Right.

It is, funnily enough, possible to put both Claudio and Pearson on a pedestal for different reasons and view them as equally valuable to the success of the club without considering one "better" than the other.

And get well soon, Nigel.

Totally. It's very hard to compare the nature of their success, and I certainly wouldn't wish to fly the flag for one of them at the expense of the other. Neither would be considered such a legendary Leicester manager but for the other's achievements, so they have a lot to thank each other for!

But even if you've looked up some of the old, great Leicester bosses - Hodge, Orr, Gillies etc. - there's nothing which comes close to either taking a side up two leagues, keeping them there and forging a budget side which later wins the title; or alternatively, being the guy who delivers the latter. In fact, across all of football there are very few who have ever done anything that spectacular, especially in the modern era.

As everyone else says, get well soon Nige.

Nobody's bulletproof.  And nobody beats Father time.  Not even Big Nige.

But who is a tougher fighter?  And if his dad is still crossing the pond with him, there is hope for many more good years.
