That it’s actually ‘Nights in White Satin’, not ‘Knights in White Satin’. I had previously had an image of heroic figures on horseback with lances, except dressed in white satin instead of suits of armour. Feel a bit underwhelmed now 😢

One of my favourite songs of all time.

 

I was reading about this recently actually and I felt underwhelmed after hearing Justin Haywood say he titled the song after satin bedsheets that his girlfriend sent him lol 

 

Still a masterpiece of a song though.

After living in Italy for 4 months I’d agree with all of the above.

 

The pistachio paste stuff is ridiculous.

 

On a slide side note on the subject, while in Naples I corrected an Italian on the way to pronounce Pistachio and it remains one of the biggest twattish moments in my life which is some achievement.

Nylon was the "In thing" back then. Good job she didnt sent him nylon sheets.

 

Night in White nylon doesnt have the same ring to it.
