Tbf though without the board we would never have won anything more than the league cup. Leicester City are a mediocre Championship to Premier yo yo club. It's a shame they didn't seize the massive opportunity but I think too much faith was placed in Rodgers. Noone else is buying this club and making us any better, that's something we have to accept. We could have ended up with Tan or some other clown, at least we have had good times when we go down and stick in the Championshipfor a bit.

Agree , we did have a massive opportunity to move the club forward after our title win, extend the ground , improve the team with stronger players who would have wanted to come and play at Leicester ( but it wasn’t to be) Hate to say this but what I’ve seen Forest do in around 3 seasons in unbelievable, just pray we can do something similar, I believe we can but as many here on FoxesTalk say we gotta have a massive overhaul of our squad it’s clear we have many players who ain’t premium league level ( ain’t naming them as I think we all know who they are ) until this happens what more can we expect. Rudd knows what he has to do but it’ll take time and big cash, keep the faith in Rudd my fellow 🦊 he’s a decent manager someone who will attract good young players because of his profile, IT WILL TAKE TIME , if he keeps us up this season it’ll be a brilliant achievement.

The only realistic hope for Hamza doing anything useful this season is to wreck some Liverpool player on boxing day (preferably Jota).

He will be still missed from Xmas in Nottingham.  He needs binning

Didn't expect anything less once I'd seen the line-up. Ruud has ridden his luck in his first two games, a thrashing was coming.

Unfortunately I think their's going to be a few more before the end of the year.

Yeah, that’s ****ing painful but there’s going to be a few more of those as well over the next few weeks.

We’ve have got to avoided getting carried away. It’s a long old slog in front of us. Hermansen’s injury looks pivotal. If it’s longer than a month, get a keeper in on loan pronto from somewhere like Forest did with Navas

I understand that you aren't being serious, but why even joke? I'm still sickened by the fibula fracture inflicted on Fofana by Fer Nino or the criminal tackle by Caden Voice on Will Alves.

Actually, I'm amazed that Hamza didn't receive more flack from the Toon today after the job he did on the out of control Matt Ritchie in the 2019  Carabao Cup tie.

I'm guessing the thinking was not to risk Iversen getting injured as we're looking to sell him in January. So lets go with Ward and see how good he is.

When in fact putting Iversen in the shop Window might have been the best thing to do giving the pasting we took all game.

We're never selling Ward with the Salary he's on. We really do need to get so much smarter when handing out Contracts. We really do.

I’ve not seen enough from us this season to suggest we will stay up. We get battered every week, if not by score line then by chances. I just don’t think these lot are good enough at all.

we just have to hope RVN can get some players in Jan via his footballing contacts..otherwise I think we are fcuked

Midfield nonexistent, much like all season.

Normally you have to break through the midfield, then break through the defence. Teams playing against us just seem to be at our defence immediately with no resistance from midfield. No other teams are this weak. The amount of shots we concede is because our midfield is so useless.

Notwithstanding our current injury situation the team that we fielded today was nowhere near fit for purpose at PL level. If this season's squad and performances don't represent a compelling argument for Rudkin's departure on the basis of the appalling off field management that he is responsible for then I don't know what will. I actually feel sorry for RvN regarding the task he has been set given the tools at his disposal.

Yeah and we held his family at gunpoint until he signed

To be fair, Ruud needs days like this, to really see what he needs to do.

We’re not a million miles away, but, as @Corky rightly says, when a team in our position has key players missing it has a major impact.

What we learn on days like today is players like Skipp and Hamza just aren’t good enough….. I don’t think we will see either again unless injuries dictate.

Just watched the goals again and this is absolutely spot on . Three defenders against an attacker who holds them off until supporting attackers arrive at pace whilst some midfielder or other ambles back in time to watch the ball go in the other side of the goal to where Ward is loitering . Like watching an under 11 side

Danny Ward - a confession.. Early on in the relegation season I thought he didn't look too bad. Then it became clear he wasn't great and each appearance he looked worse.

Now I'm convinced there was some kind of Brenda backhander for buying him

that'd be one long con since Ward was signed by Puel

Not the second goal though and probably most important of the game. What were we doing - everyone asleep- bet Ruud and the coaches were fuming.

Just the 7 hour drive back tomorrow lol

Shambles - how Danny Ward has been allowed to play for us again in the PL is beyond me. Midfield woeful and wingers totally ineffective.

Expected defeat but that was abject.

Couldn't agree with you more

Danny Ward must literally be driven away from the club and given free to East Fife reserve team

Just got back. Concerning performance with no positives to take from it. The squad is nowhere near where it needs to be evidenced by the fact we had Coady playing in central midfield.
