One things for sure though, MVG won't be up there treating him like he's his little brother. Whilst it's nice to see Bunting looking happy for Littler, Aspinall the same you felt they weren't too fussed about losing to him.

Interested in this bit. I do quite like the camaraderie that darts players seem to have with each other, and it must be genuine when you're travelling across the country/world together getting to play a game you enjoy and paid a lot for.

But what element (with Littler especially) is genuine bond/looking after a youngster and for the cameras? By that I mean they all know this man is so astronomically popular with both the crowd and Sky Sports it's not in your interest to be pitted as a "villain" against him?

Darts followers will know this way better than me so I'm properly interested in what people think.

MVG won’t be giving out fist bumps and clapping, he never has, he’s just focused on beating whoever is in front of him and he doesn’t buy in to the littler love in at all.

Could be a close match tonight but think Littler will have too much for him, 7-5.

I like littler and want him to win. But I’d of loved Peter Manley to still be about. One of the greatest wind up merchants in darts I reckon he’d of made him cry haha. All this fist pumping and shaking hands is crap and boring.

Reckon MVG has this, seems extremely focused and has gone a bit under the radar.

Noting the above, it'll obviously now be 7-0

Its a bit of a slog in a what is a long match and both players will have their periods of dominance you'd think, but both like to impose themselves on matches so I think whoever starts strongly will go on to win.

Regardless of that, I'm just looking forward to it and hope to see a really high standard and a real showcase of what they can do.

If i was betting tonight, it'd be on MVG purely because the bookies have him too big at 2/1 in my opinion. I don't think you can split these 2 at all. As said above, my only hope is that both players are on it and it's an absolutely class final

So if they’re both at 80% then mvg wins but if mvg is at 100% he will win? What if littler is at 100% as well?

MVG’s absolute best is better than Littler’s but Littler is generally more consistent and his ‘nearly best’ is better than MVG’s

The way littler has barely got out of (his own) second gear in this tournament and has kept everyone at arms length is ridiculous.
