Lincoln are 2nd in League 1 currently, there’s a chance next season we are the lowest placed LCFC in League Football for the first time in about 125 years. And we’re supposed to be careful what we wish for

Given that Mike Ashley is sniffing around clubs needing new ownership, yeah still.

King Powers kicking a dead corpse by carrying on at this club. I read on football inside I think that the results of the hearing and the potential deduction will be announced and implemented before the months end. And I reckon it is gonna be 9 points and that they've got us bang to rights because when we weaselled our way out of the last charges we kept giving out statements saying how the charges were wrongful. If we get 9 points deducted as expected we drop down to 19th on goal difference being level with Pompey in 21st. In the event of this, I think it'll hit home to a lot more of the fanbase at how ****ed we really especially after Cov and probably losing to Wrexham.

I think we all know that the players we have got and the manager leading them do not have the larger determination, spirit or quality to get themselves out this position easily. Relegation either this season or next is a lot more likely than promotion and the gravity of the situation is a lot worse than many realise.

With this in mind, I think a much larger proportion of the fanbase will finally turn against King Power and rightfully so.

Although right now there's not much sway for an organised protest, give it a week or two and people will be a lot more angry and determined to protest.

I think the time for boycott is over as the clubs already pocketed the money for season tickets so they're not gonna take a massive hit on that.
'NOT A POUND IN THE GROUND' should go without saying as the food and drinks over priced and shit with the service being shocking and we shouldn't be giving our hard earned money going to them clowns.

Secondly, I think the Sheffield Wednesday approach of staying in the concourse is very effective at attracting media attention so I propose we STAY IN THE CONCOURSE UNTIL THE 9th MINUTE in reference to the 9 point deduction

When we do come onto the stands our feelings towards the board and owner should be made clear through banners and chants.

At FULL TIME we should GROUP OUTSIDE THE MAIN RECEPTION in a further act of protest which attract further media attention and a crowd will attract a crowd so the more that goes the better. Even if we take the Norwich approach and block the players leaving the car park.

And just to rub it in a bit more, the Lincoln manager is from Leicester

Ashley and King Power have the same amount of relegations. Ashley has less charges for financial mismanagement but no trophies.

He’d be a good stop gap to get us finally secure for a bit though.

Definitely not who I want but he'd be an upgrade from this.

**** off no he wouldn't.

I'm not having that kind of revisionism.

Top is incompetent, Ashley is proactively and deliberately a leech.

We'll see. He's a ***** and I don't want him here but I don't remember him putting a club in this financial mess.

The thing with Ashley is he's got no interest in building anything. He's not going to go out and hire brilliant DoFs, recruitment teams, etc. He's going to just let the club fester with what it's got now and slowly leech money out of it.

So we're not going to be any better off, we're not going to benefit from any kind of great decision making we don't have now. The difference being that one thing KP have done is inject their own money.

So, sure, we'd probably stop spending ourselves in to PSR problems with Ashley but that's because we'd stop spending full stop.

He'd be an absolute ****ing disaster and anyone thinking otherwise needs to go talk to a Newcastle fan.

I don't think the "grass isn't always greener" / "it could be worse" argument outweighs wanting King Power gone at this point, I do wish Top sold up. But, to be clear, it definitely COULD be worse. The thing is, it could always be worse and you shouldn't let that stop you hoping for better.

Is it all about footballing results then?

If Ashley stopped the PSR problems, stabilised contracts, employed more competent directors, stopped the requirement for tippy tappy, I would consider it an improvement.  But havent looked much in to these sort of things during his Newcastle reign.

I consider him better in the way I consider Lithuania to be better than Gibraltar. He's absolutely not what I want here, it is a miserable experience. But I just do not see how his track record is as bad as Aiyawatt's. I'd agree with your take if it was about Chansiri, although even he didn't quite have the luxury of inheriting what Aiyawatt did here. The decline he's overseen here just shouldn't be possible. It's way beyond incompetence, it's negligence at this point.
