I don’t think top will attend any more games this season, quite simply he’s not a leader.

They should put his head on a huge tv screen, like Holly from Red Dwarf.

Attending now would require fronting things up and being a real man. We know he's not got that in him.

He only attends if he can make it about himself.

Then the weirdos who seem to follow King Power just as much as they do Leicester City allow him to feel like he's the one being supported.

It's comparable to the people who stand for hours to wave at the Royals.

Kind of relevant, but a little bit off topic.

But how bad must it be to play here? How toxic must it actually be? When you look at Justin and how well he is playing for Leeds, and to think how bad he was for us over the last two years. It just seems everyone hates playing for us. They don’t hate the wages, but clearly don’t actually want to be playing for us.

What makes it that bad? Is it just the type of characters we’ve been signing?

Is it that players feel there is a lack of general direction from the club? That we have gone through several managers with different playing styles, have an absent owner and a Director of Football that is out of his depth?

Could it be that there has been the looming points deduction(s) hanging over us that are affecting them psychologically in that there's been uncertainty on how that will impact the outcome of the season?

Could it be that they are far too comfortable turning up at a state of the art, but somewhat soulless training facility out in the sticks and picking up inflated wages for this level of football?

Is it playing in front of a fanbase that are mostly dead behind the eyes?

I have no idea. I don't think any of these are valid excuses, but I'd love to know what the hell is going on.

I listened for the first time in ages to this evenings  'When your smiling'  on Radio Leicester and Matt Piper was quite scathing of..... well everything really..

Blamed a toxic dressing room and unnamed "bad eggs" with inflated ego's with no accountability for their actions, who also won't entertain being questioed,  so no standards set. The fact that we as a club have lost our 'hunger' and desire to perfom.

Hi-lighted "Cvnt Top's" lack of leadership, and his lack of acceptance that something is wrong and that he's clueless of the ramifications of Relegation to League One, and made a point that nothing will change until KP & "CT"  are gone.

He seemed very much in tune and agreement with a lot of us campaigning for change which was very refreshing.

So you have quite possibly hit the nail.on the head here....and the answer is bad, really bad.

From everything I’ve read, listened to from former players and people in the know around the club - our demise was brought about the second we let Kasper Schmeichel walk out the door.

He set the standard, some people didn’t like it, but that role is never going to be a popular one if you’re not setting firm boundaries and high expectations of those around you.

When he went, not only did it leave a huge hole in the keeper department, but in the club as a whole and the lazy leaches took over and were allowed to get away with lowering expectations. The constant change in managers hasn’t helped, not has giving senior leadership roles in the playing squad to the likes of Choudhury (not the only one) but players who don’t either vocally set a standard or lead by example.

The culture filters down from the Top. An owner who never shows up. No real jeopardy to playing badly.

Even Rebekah Vardy's patronising bullshit proves a lot about what I've always thought Vardy thinks of us to be honest. Easy to say he loves the fans now but there was loads of ear cupping and being resentful towards us for ages. Him and Drinkwater were full of it.

I bet if you asked players who've played for us the last 5/6 years they'd all say this is because of entitlement. Even Top's interview was full of that shit. We were just a small midlands club apparently.

Professional footballers can **** off.

Again it’s a legacy to his old man that the structures were in place to make him seem like a good chairman for a few years before it all came crashing down.

You're joking aren't you? Famously high payers with zero expectations or standards required. We're like a holiday park for shite players wanting one final payday

Single weirdest thing I've ever seen our fans do. Said it at the time but it was proper odd

I'd forgotten but there was a similar incident in Bruges with Vichai. Sold our soul as a club and now dealing with the outcome.

Great if you have no standards and have no place being a top level footballer.

Really shit if you actually want to have a decent career that isn't solely measured on money earnt.

It’s beyond one player. We might have stayed up in 22/23 but we’d have gone down the following year anyway

It's not been Compass for a year now. The catering and hospitality contract is with Oakview Group.

I’ve said it before but he’s shitting himself.

It’s why he won’t turn up for games either. He’s rattled by the increasing number of fans turning on him and would rather hide.

He won’t face the music. He’s not a leader.

He probably thinks this is bad as well. Imagine if he ran a club on the continent with a big ultras group.
