I don't think it's Adidas' fault their kits for us have been so bad. Reeks of someone at the club picking different bits / designs / motifs out of a catalogue.

Agree to a point but in general the adidas templates are pretty boring

Didn’t KP show some interest in the Tigers a few years back?

Please don't wish these inept clowns onto the Tigers.  Tigers are doing ok as they are thank you.

I bet the Adidas rep books a 30 min teams call, turns up 10 mins late, shows 5 slides with options and says I recommend this one, kpfc bod nods and we're sorted. Only next action is to find the least appropriate player to dance around in it a few weeks later.

Was just a few rumours by Pro-KP journos/LCFC fans

was never any serious interest

There was a whole thread on LTLF forum with over 100 pages about how many Leicester shirts you see in Nottingham around 2021.

It always comes round. I'd be less bothered about Forest and Coventry having their era of "success" if ours wasn't such a fall off.

I love the idea of an area like Hinckley "falling" to Coventry like they're ****ing Vikings or something. I think one look at Hinckley will tell you it "fallen" a long time ago.

We're the first line of defence against them Warwickshire w@nkers I'll have you know. Now we have to suffer the indignity of being served by men in Cov shirts (bar Yo-ey who refused until he took it off 😂).

😆👎

Hopefully. This does feel different though. There has never been a time in the last 50 years that Cov fans felt so emboldened as to wear their shirts proudly in Hinckley regardless of the difference in league positions and now half the new pub owners/managers seem to be wearing Cov shirts. Think there's something in that...

They’ve barely ever been in a league higher than us and it is the first time in history they have been 2 higher. It’s peak circumstances in terms of our fans coming out the woodwork and ours hiding.

Do you know what's funny - over the years there have been comments from fans as to why the club dont do a) or b). And the usual response is, that is not what clubs do. But actually we are being proved wrong by the actions of clubs who are not exactly great in their running. It perhaps emphasises how badly run we are.

It's how normalised it is. It's embedded into the fanbase now that this is normal. It's a ****ing joke. Wolves are a piss poor run club and even their floor is nowhere near as low as ours under these ****ing idiots.

I've heard from the Adidas side that they work for months with whoever it is at the club they deal with on the kit, only for Top to wade in at the 11th hour and rip everything up.

We're apparently well renowned as one of their most difficult accounts.

We've all worked with bosses like that. It's no wonder the mess we're in. When nobody respects the boss, things go sour pretty quickly in any organisation.

My gut tells me this will get a lot worse before it gets better. :(

It’s not your guts @teblin. It’s your brain.

With Top & Rudkin in charge it’s a certainty that things will get worse.

The thing that’s not clear is whether it’ll ever get better under these clowns 🤡

it's unfathomable 4 weeks after the conclusion of the season we still have zero accountability, no plan, no communication, no news on manager etc. etc.

How anyone's comfortable putting money into this club atm I have no idea how you do it

Nothing is gonna change and it is going to get worse

I think Leicester are in a death spiral. We’re weeks since relegation and we’ve still no idea of what the club’s plans are for next season. No direction, no communication, nothing.

My guess is there’s a lot going on behind closed doors trying to sort out the wage bill. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re desperately trying to negotiate reductions, exits or contract terminations with some of the big earners – Winks, Choudhury, Vestergaard, Skipp and others. Add in the EFL financial rules and spending restrictions and it’s not difficult to figure we are some really deep 💩. Players are not going to accept reductions in their wages.

I remember Dennis Wise and his unpaid wages saga. Wise was an odious little man and at the time it felt like one of the worst periods being a Leicester fan. This has a very different feel to it, much worse and on a much bigger scale. I genuinely fear for the club’s future viability.

King Power out!

This is what we expect them to be doing and also what they should be doing. However, would you be surprised if they actually weren't?

Everyone's probably got to wait until JR's had his summer holiday.

Could they semi asset strip us, then sell the carcass on the cheap?

Fatawu, Monga, Nelson, Okoli etc

Then sell what’s left.

I think realistically they’d make more money back that way.

Asset strip with Okoli? lol

Yes, he would add about £1m to the KP coffers!

Okoli is one that you’d hope could be moved on. He’s of a good age still, not yet reached his peaked and was part of a failed team rather than being individually one of the worst culprits. You’d imagine there’d be interest from Italy and elsewhere in Europe.

The problem as always, what wages is he on? And there’s about €8.5 mill left on his amortisation. I think it doesn’t matter so much for PSR in L1 but still represents what we’d need to break even .

Probably likely a loan.

Yep Agree.

This is me trying to look on the brightside. (there isn't one an I'm kidding myself)

But it may be that there is more movement on everything after this weekend, all the playoffs will be decided etc...

Might be that they are just on holiday and don't care anymore.

You know how the manager thing works mate, someone completley inept will be appointed mid July, please see last season for reference.

The club is in crisis and everybody has gone on holiday. It truly is laughable how bad this regime is. If there is any crumb of comfort to the pain we are feeling right now, is that they won't be here forever and they will either run out of cash or interest or even more likely that their hand will be forced by administration. Every day brings us closer to the end.

Top will put up £20m odd and announce it to the world like he's god.

Top will lose a ton of money if he sells the club anytime soon, won't he?

Think KP only leave in one of two circumstances:

  • Club is re-established as a PL club and a buyer is found (lollollol)
  • Club goes into administration and KP are forced to move on

Is there actually any way we avoid administration at this point? We'd need to double promote, and I don't see us even doing one.
