King Power Out

I think I will stick to my theory. I don't think we are as close to administration right now as some random on Facebook is saying. Signing players like Chaplin and Burns makes no sense if we are days away from going into administration. There is calculated risk, and then there is downright stupidity. Clubs that are days/weeks from going into administration usually do a fire sale and promote and rely on youth players and lowest earners already at the club, just to get a starting 11 out there.

No one knows how close we are or if it will happen at all, but I think it has been well demonstrated on numerous occasions that the club is more than capable of downright stupidity.

The scarves that were placed in the aftermath of the tragedy. I read something the other day they were earmarked for being part of the museum down there that has never happened, but sadly all the items had been ‘lost’ by the club. Does anyone know if that is correct?

They were outside for so long and rained on a lot that they were starting to look really manky. I’d say being chucked is nearer to the truth than them being lost.

Even if it’s a rumour at this point, it’s plausable - KP the company were never gonna just keep pouring in cash.

And why would anyone pay £200m or even £100m for a club absolutely loaded with debt that you can probably buy from admin for a fraction of that and most likely with the debt hugely decreased as part of the admin deal.

It’s gonna be a rough one. Turning on each other is not gonna help.

Do you think players like Chaplin and Burns are low earners? That doesn't add up.

Compared to Ricardo, Winks, Vestergaard, Daka, Ayew and the other 15 that have left over the summer yes.

The club hierarchy has made numerous suicidal decisions over the past few years. Signing players like Chaplin and Burns on silly wages fits that trend nicely.

Either that or they all went off to Thailand

Any truth on the Facebook shite. Every player is up for sale and we are close to admin.

You could offer  a link to it, then I could form an opinion.

Every player being up for sale, is not unrealistic, its the latter thats harder to form an opinion on.  But I think admin only becomes attractive to the current owner if he cant find any buyers.

Reddit continues to be weirdly pro King Power

Imagine being that stupid

All out of some bizarre loyalty to some rich ***** who doesn't give two ****s about you or the club

Honestly struggling to believe they are real people. Even used both the catchphrases we all us to mock them. "We've been in League One before" and "careful what you wish for"

Sorry can some just confirm to me what I've just read - we were technically 11th after 0 games because we start with a L 😂

Is that seriously what hes used as an argument?

Reddit has always been pro-King Power. Two seasons I've been shouted and laughed at when making anti-KPFC comments. I think most are Yankee Doodles / those who just went "I'll pick a team in the Prem to support" characters.

I mean the 2008/09 squad was clearly not weaker than this one but ok lol

Tunchev, Hobbs, Berner, Gradel, Dyer, Cleverley, King, Oakley, Mark Davies, Fryatt, Howard even the goalkeepers like Henderson, Dave Martin etc.

Or…

McCarthy, Okoli, Thomas, Reid, Cullen, Skipp etc?

Not to mention we had Nige not Martin!

I'd have taken that squad last season. Might even have kept us in the EPL.

We were second in the championship in administration with players like izzett, walker, sinclair, dickov and Stewart (all prem players). These people are so thick.

Exactly. If I was doing a combined squad from both our L1 campaigns (as our squad it now), it’d be something like;

Dave Martin

Joseph

Hobbs

Tunchev

Berner

Gradel

Oakley/Braybrooke

Cleverley/Davies

Dyer

Fryatt

Howard

Subs

Any of the keepers apart from McCarthy

Aluko

Michael Morrison

King

Someone from the centre mids above

Alves

Striker - maybe Bristvic if he’s any good and better than Dickov the sequel of DJ Campbell!

It's maddening

This is actually staggering. One thing if they move the goalposts but to try and claim something objective, isn't?!

I randomly found myself on a Leicester related post and most people were actually KP out so not sure why that was
