Based on Sunday, somehow (answers on a postcard), we have to keep Fatawu, BEK, Winks.  IF they let them go/have to get rid, then their historical stupidity (new 3 year contracts Vesty & Hamza) on top of the financial disasters building over the the previous seasons will be the reason why.  IF they were in any sort of decent financial shape, they could bat all the fud for the players away.  1st Sept can't come fast enough.

Promise you as well, if those 3 go, there is NO contingency in place to replace them immediately LFL, more stupidity and disaster upon disaster.

We will really struggle to get promoted without that quality.

If they get rid of those 3 then the season won’t be worth watching.  Monga will have no positive role models or players with ability to learn from.

We will be stuck with players too scared to pass forward or even think about crossing the halfway line or players who fall over and hog the ball.

Think if Fatawu goes after BEK it’ll get a lot more vocal and angry quickly. Selling Abdul after the start he’s made this season will finally be the tipping point for a fair few.

If Everton start waving £45m under our nose like they did with Dibling are the club saying no?

The club should be planning for the long term and build a team around the young, decent players left.

45m in the pocket now is worth far less than the harm it will cause if we stagnate where we are or worse still, go down again.

It's on a knife edge.

Should the squad stay as it is, we will finish above 100 points imo.  Take away the creativity from that and we are in big trouble long term as we will never get out of this league for many years to come.  Not with the current ownership.

I think it's time to sell up but not sure who we would be able to sell to?

Who wants to buy us knowing the cost would be high (to recoup loans etc) and then likely PSR deductions and limits on spending. Maybe even transfer embargoes. Will it take another shady set of businessmen or hope for an uber wealthy bid from a sultan state or yet another yank? Sigh,  it's not looking good bruv, it's not looking good!

At least we got to see our dreams, it's just so sad how things have turned out given the position we were in.  Goes to show how fuked the EPL is though when the likes of Brighton, bournemouth, brentford etc can stick to budgets, stay up and be nothing clubs. Where's the fun in that really? I suppose that's all we have been trying to do and failed miserably.

I feel for fans of all clubs outside the big ones as the reality is they/we will likely never be able to compete other than for the cups. At some point we all kind of go through the same cycles of dreaming big and crashing back down to reality.

Off to pronhub to cheer me up

If people think that allowing Wednesday's protest was for any reason other than to distract for our own issues. We don't need them to 'allow' us anyway, just do it. There isn't the hunger though.

The best way is don’t buy a ticket

Bit of a missed opportunity by UFS on Sunday with the banner against the Wednesday owner. Let them do their own protest and stick to our message.  Could have done some message against Thai ownership. Hopefully next game is back to normal

John Textor seriously looking at Wednesday according to Simon Jordan… would we welcome someone like him to buy into our club?? Or would it be flames to fire…

Not a chance. Bloke is poison.

From what I've seen, we're not getting promoted as we have a lot of players that don't want to be here and we are not freshening the squad to turn it around.

I just feels KP are now only doing the bear minimum to keep us going and selling players to fund the running of the club. When all our best players have been sold, then we'll be in a right mess. What's the plan? It seems reactive rather than pro active every season and that is on DoF to sort the long term goals for the club. We have a donkey

I hope I'm wrong. I know the squad is bloated, I know we need to shift a few, but it seems like a fire sale and accept bods for anyone who will bid for our best players. What happens when we can't sell anymore?

The lack of communication isn't helping with the feeling around the club.

How anyone can let the level of incompetence continue in a business if you genuinely want to change it around, is astounding.

Not defending our owners, BUT they haven't sunk to anywhere near the level of that being endured by the Wednesday fans, staff and players.

Not yet ...  but heading in that direction... Top needs to step up and sort the situation out .... or sell up

Be interesting to see if any of the KPFC crowd cotton on this season. Increasingly confident that the club will be in a worse position by the end of this season than the one they found it in in 2010.

I think so too. I said I wouldn’t spend a single penny after the Ipswich game (Vardy farewell) so no shirts, we’ve not renewed our season tickets for the women’s team which isn’t much but money still goes into the King Power black hole.

The women’s team are highly likely to finish bottom in the WSL.

Until people stop falling for it, they’ll keep taking the money and serving up drivel.

We’ve far too many happy clappers that are content to see us back in what they see as our rightful place as a yoyo club and we should just be eternally grateful for the short period of success we had.

We could finish bottom of the league this season and at least 60% of the crowd will be clapping on the last day of the season.

This isn’t even exaggerating as you quite literally see posts from KPFC lot directly saying it, but many of them have in their heads that KP saved us from administration and/or got us back up from League 1! It shows how recent they must be following us if they can’t remember that they actually arrived when we were back in the Championship for a year or so.

But for this reason, don’t expect many of them to see the reality of what you are saying.

At what point are we just asset stripping with a look to selling the club? Might just be me but I can’t help feel it’s happening now.

The sooner we have new owners, the better.

Well the last Macquarie payment disappeared into thin air... took out ahead of January window, then signed Woyo....

The July one is looking the same too.

Their all part of the problem

Too many goody goodies who won’t say anything bad about the headmaster.
No point in having banners if you don’t want to address a situation that everyone sees & feels.
The saying “Grow a pair” springs to mind

Chansiri is a terrible owner for all the well known reasons but at least he communicates with the fans. A bit of honest intentions would go a long way.

There’s lots of theories but ultimately it’s that the owner simply doesn’t care. The club is not his priority, it’s an asset. And an asset that is crumbling under a lack of care.

Spot on ! its the “lack of care” more than anything for me personally and I can’t get passed that as I love the club.

If he thought anything of the fans at all he should be honest with himself and seek a buyer who wants to do right by the club instead of putting his own self importance first.

We’re still an attractive proposition, regardless of our situation, more astute business personnel Ala, Chelsea, Newcastle etc, would come up with creative (probably not moral, but is football moral now) ways to clear the decks and create “revenue”. KP simply don’t have that sort of financial pull, when you compare them to some owners out there, they’re fairly modest. Just our recent history alone would be a major factor, because we’ve still got marketability…..

If we were out up for sale, when we would probably go fairly easy, but, what we want, is for a consortium to approach us, because this would potentially signal their intent… it wouldn’t surprise me if we have been approached already, or Top has at least, but just doesn’t want to sell the club.

I’m completely against King Power and I won’t be spending a penny at the club until they’re gone, but there seems to be a latching hope they’d sell up and we’ll immediately go up but the truth is we’re fvcked.

We need a complete clearance. On the pitch, in the board room, a total restructure of the club beneath them as in its current guise it is unrecoverable. Everything Pearson built has been pulled out or rotted away and replaced with a substandard quick fix that has in almost all cases has failed utterly. If the club was a house the foundations would be rotted and it’d need pulling down before anything worthwhile could be done with the land.

The uncomfortable reality is we need to accept at least a couple years of Championship mediocrity. New ownership, all the right people in behind the scenes, a financial reset and begin building up the team itself when that is done and we’re on steady ground. Even with Birmingham it took relegation to get themselves in position, and that is exactly happened to us with Pearson. Assuming we’ve got too much to drop (I’m not fully convinced), it’ll be some struggling but you like to believe if  there is evidence of some vision and a plan the proper support will get behind it. KPFC loyalists will soon get bored and with their God-Hero gone hopefully they’ll slink off and take up The Hundred as is befitting.

Theres no quick fix, 2010s era Leicester is dead and buried so betting on being back up in a year or two will likely just exacerbate the the panicked, strategy-vacant path we’re on. The sooner proper supporters withhold their money, and the club continues inevitably on its downwards trajectory, they will have to sell up and the real work can begin in earnest.
