So ninth-place Villa are going to beat us more emphatically than runaway leaders Liverpool?

Yes that’s it pretty much summarised. I’ve seen nothing the last two games to say we can even remotely challenge a team like them.

yesterday we played better but at no point did I really think we would score

Okoli for Coady, wouldn't be opposed to Hamza for JJ either, rest of the team as is.

Indeed. Hamza 'the lesser of two liabilities'.

I got a last minute ticket to watch us v Liverpool and was actually disappointed but then got encouraged by the performance........I really gained hope and belief v Man C(btw isnt their chant about Ranieri the most ironic thing considering how they treated Pelligrini) and now I'm really looking forward to Villa!! Is this normal behaviour for a rational man?

0-1(Daka) I realise this bit isn't rational

They also sacked mancini. Very strange that they're still using that chant

Villa are due a bad day at the office and maybe we can pull their pants down and fight for a draw or unexpected narrow win!

They'll be without Duran.

Think will win this one; they can be quite suspectible defensively

We've conceded 12 goals in 4 games and think we've managed to score once.

Given we will let 2-3 in do you think we're bagging a trio at villa park?

Convincing loss wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Hopefully mean the higher ups open up the cheque book. At this point it's worth going big and risking a couple of points deduction. If we go down, we've got 2 assets that are worth anything decent and they'll be sold to cover the shortfall.

Do you think we’ll play as badly against Villa as we did against Newcastle?

Probably not, but we’re not particularly good. We can’t be as obstinate as we were against Liverpool & M City every game because we just won’t score.

We created several very good chances to score against Man City.

1.3 xG

3 shots on target and 11 in total against a totally out of sorts Man City, they were on the bottom 3 in the form table (I think).

We had a few half chances.

We need to carry on the counter attacking theme. I would start Daka up top for his pace on the break with Vardy impact sub. Okoli in for Coady. Rest same team.

You wouldn’t bring Choudhury in for Justin?
