The more I think about this the more we can’t be over, we didn’t need skipp or that palace loan so why risk just being over by a few million? We sold KDH to get through this, he didn’t even want to leave by all accounts so we best not be over ffs.

So they are thinking of selling the land the bought a few years ago to expand the stadium?

Great strategic planning

Didn’t £200m get written off the books in the relegation season??? I wonder if this was clearing the loan they took out for the expansion. I think it’s safe to assume that isn’t happening anymore…… it’s incidents like this that really make me fear for our future. I believe if we go down it’s not a case of we will be down for a while, I think it’s genuinely a case of can we survive? A combination of PSR and piss poor leadership could see us disappear…….

Just so we're clear, 4 years after building a world-class training facility to help make them even more competitive, Leicester are now having to look at selling their women's training ground AND land purchased for a stadium expansion we'd spent half a decade planning; explicitly NOT because we're in any sort of financial trouble whatsoever, but to comply with rules that the PREMIER LEAGUE THEMSELVES have admitted are deeply flawed?

What is the point of even trying to compete anymore?

It’s probably bollocks, unless we are screwed this season. Having spent 80m so far we will need to sell something or someone to offset expenditure by the end of June.

This season has been so disappointing. Team not competitive. Every other week we seem to have financial issues issues hanging over us. How about this for a start...send back Edouard who is not even on the bench and we are chucking money at. Pay off ward who should not ever put a shirt on again. We are too nice. In the summer I want to see some fundamental changes because people at the club are milking it and not providing value. The premier league is not all that. VAR is absolutely pointless and is killing the enjoyment. Last night Isaac fouled off the ball. Blatant. VAR can't get involved. What is it for? If we need to drop down and rebuild I am okay with that as I would prefer it to what has happened this season.

Has Tanner EVER had an exclusive? I think I have more contacts than him.

Is he a Leicester fan?

So let's say we've breached Psr and given 6pts deduction. We're relegated. So we're done with the premier league for years, in my opinion.

So we know we are going down to championship where we'll have a points deduction, a business plan enforced and more to note, a transfer embargo. So, we won't be ae to buy players and we'll obviously sell our stars who will be picked off. Vards leave. I'm guessing Mads, Winks, Ndidi, Soumare, maybe Skipp, Fatawu, Ricardo, etc leave. We basically are forced to use what's left with starting point of minus points.

So why not screw PSR, sign players when we can now, talented youngsters from around the leagues on long contracts and build a team for next season?

Or does the transfer embargo get lifted if get money from sales?

Also if the club are 'confident' they haven't breached, why haven't there been more rumours/movement on signings. The lack of rumours suggest to me there's doubt and this troubling

Wolves and Ipswich are confident as they've made signings. Why aren't we looking at loans from abroad? The whole operation stinks of ineptitude

Not sure if this belongs in this thread , but hey.

Football feels like it has become over complicated with the likes of PSR and VAR. it was the same game on the park, obviously at a very different standard.

Leicester City then seem to over complicate things again as they always have I guess.

And the fun has gone. It's all about paperwork and money these days.

Signings in January to try and keep us up won’t have any effect on any points deduction this season.

Percy says we’re not expected to spend big and only expect to bring cheap full backs in.

Club still upset we’re being punished for challenging big six, the club need to start taking ownership of the utter incompetence, only when they start admitting that will we have any chance of moving forward.

  • He basically says we believe we're being harshly treated but it's expected that we breached and quotes Swiss Rambles estimates.
  • Says we're not going to be backed much in this window, we want to terminate Eduoards loan and look for cheap fullbacks but that's about it.
  • Says we're going to return to the model of selling one key asset each summer and flags Mads Hermansen as really the only big possible sale with a Man Utd chief goalkeeping scout recently watching him.

King Power Out.

Why does this feel like an after thought surely we should of done a chelsea and sold this asset or transferred it a long time ago to comply. We dont need 2 training grounds.
