He was half decent, under some good coaching he could be worth a fortune one day. One season in the Championship he could be worth a lot of profit like KDH.

Our signings this window need to be starters who will replace players currently starting in the team. CC is not one for this. He might be great in the future but from what we saw last year he deffo isn’t a Prem starter

He wasn't pants. He was developing and had never played at Championship level before. Some games he looked decent, and in some it looked like the pace of the game was too much for him. The completely stupid thing is that when Chelsea recalled him, Ndidi was injured, so he would have had much more development with us than he got with Chelsea. 

 

But saying all that, there were rumours the price tag they put on him was ridiculous. There has been no development since he left us, so i think this is just noise.

What is this clubs obsession with central midfielders, we always have a glut of them and keep singing more, whilst neglecting other parts of the team.

Although I think he was harshly judged last season, he still didn’t set the world alight even though he wasn’t bad. Bit meh last season in the Championship so pointless on so many fronts for this season.

 

Not to say he wouldn’t be decent back in the Championship.

Not for me. Didn't pull up any trees last season and if Enzo, who he played under last season, doesn't think he's good enough for the PL why should we.
