Thinking they do does not make it so!!!!  lol lol

Well, we were correct v Brentford (Dawson, who presumably also did lots of analysis) and Wolves and Newcastle.

Each game the fans called it.

Fans call every possible selection, so I am not sure that tells us much tbh

The 'the manager watches them in training so he must be right' gimmick needs to end. He also watches Danny ward yet played him.

Cooper watched El Khannouss and Fatawu yet the fans were right that they needed to start.

Buonanotte out for Ayew is criminal. We looked better attacking wise against Man City. Does Ruud have a problem with him?

I love Facundo, but my god he gives the ball away so often so i get why away Ruud won't want to play Bilal and Facundo together. There really isn't anyone else to play other than Ayew. I think if Kasey is fit  he would have started today.

We had our best game of the season by a mile last time with both of then playing together

Let it go, he has been banished from the starting XI

Anyway, as a new manager, nobody would turn up and kick out the current starting keeper in the first game or two, be sensible.

How is he? He can't run. Facundo works his arse off.

Not in the RB area. JJ needs all the support he can get.

But were they?

I made this point the other week but no-one really answered, when he started what did he actually do?

He was arguably more of a threat off the bench and furthermore to that when we started to start him we had nothing off the bench and the manager got slagged off for then starting him so he couldn't do right for doing wrong.

Apart from that, I agree with the other points you make.

I have a weird feeling that Alves is gonna have a day to remember.

I predicted the darts final perfectly right down to order of sets won, which is obviously completely random and blind luck, but I now consider myself on a roll.

I dreamt last night that we didn't lose and Ayew scored. I accept this is hugely unlikely, but I'm sharing it just in case I'm an oracle now. I also dreamt I was there by the way but had to leave before the end as my wife had gone in to labour (my wife is not pregnant but I do have a wife).

I'm not at the match today so you can see there are clear flaws in this dream; but I hope the avoiding defeat part is correct.

Best I can hope for is confirmation from the wife later that she isn't pregnant. Oh and three points.

It’s not a gimmick though is it!
For all we know ward might have been prime Peter Shilton in training and did everything right for Ruud and the coaches.
Sorry, but that’s not how I remember some FTers at the time talking about EK and AF!

OPA should ask him after the game why he doesn’t pick him.

I thought he was fine when starting. Frustrating? Yes. But his defensive work, ball carrying ability and ability to take players on is irreplaceable in this team.

Cooper usually subbed him in too late in the game to make an impact as well, it was only the Southampton game where he got decent minutes.
