Poor final, both running on fumes which is pretty much understandable in this tournament.

Not Kyren’s biggest fan but fair play to him, been able to raise it all week when needed and most certainly deserved it today.

Its a tournament that gives so many classic matches over the years but when it comes to the final so many seem to end up all a bit meh

Ronnies comeback didn't last long, losing 5-3 to his arch nemesis carter.

Zhang makes a 147 in first frame:-

In other matches Murphy white washed Mark Allen.

Murphy on fire, 4 matches played, 21 frames won, just 3 frames lost.  Including wins against Kyren wilson, Mark Allen and Neil Robertson.

He'll play either carter or trump in the final.

RIP John Virgo.

Damn, gutting news, sounds like it was unexpected too.

Got into snooker watching big break with my grandparents back in the day, while Davidson was a clown, we used to love Virgo. Obviously a great player and commentator in his own right too. RIP.

Loved him with Jim Davidson in Big break. Saturday  evenings was Brill with them two.

Great voice of snooker.

Dramatic match between Higgins and Trump.

Trump in deciders this season, played 8, won 0.

Higgins just keeps on going doesn’t he ?

Plays Zhao Xintong tomorrow

That’s more than once recently that Selby has opened up a commanding lead to then lose a decider.

Really surprised to see he’s 3rd on the one year list, really thought he was building back to his best after the UK

He might be a match fixer, but he deserves praise for this 😳

Gary WIlson almost doing the same, three centuries and a 93.
