Unsure if this has been mentioned but the players looked absolutely exhausted after 35 minutes tonight. Wtf is that all about.

He had the perfect opportunity to rest players against QPR and didnt take it. Sorry but starting a 38 year old 3 times in a week isnt gonig to work.

Played a full strength team against QPR to build some momentum.... worked out well didnt it!

I woke up this morning, and thought of something good last night.     I don't think there were any clappers.   Or not that I remember, anyway.

sorry to bust your bubble but there were clappers... Probably thought there werent as there was nothing to really clap!

There is definitely a lot less of an uptake these days though, i think we will send the end of them by the end of the season.

Scored in every match under Cooper. Last six matches - 2 goals.

And 16 conceded.

Attack is worse, and the defence is too

We had to try and build some momentum, i didn't mind him playing a strong side.

Not resting *anyone* was bizarre, though.

It's now a mini league between us and Southampton to see who can finish bottom.

Ruud may as well quit cos he hasn't been backed this window.

Top can **** off but please leave Rudkin behind so the new owner can sack the weasel.

They are the chances you take as a Manager, Sometimes it works fine sometimes it doesn't.

That wasn't the problem last night, It was player error again, From a player who didn't play on Saturday.

Small margins in a game we played well aside from the result. That's just Football.

We're sadly missing Wilfs bite on the pitch,

On a positive note VK is getting better along with Soumare the more they play.

There was absolutely no need to play Vardy, winks or Sourmare against QRP could of given them all the weekend off. Just like Palace did with a few of their key players.

I agree with the rest though.

I thought Daka worked really hard when he came on and for the first time looked like he could offer something.

Ruud must be getting into his head, He just needs to calm down in front of Goal and he could get scoring.

He's our only hope up front unless we rest Vardy and he comes back energised or we sign someone new.

We badly need players back from injury before it's too late.

The stupid thing is we look a better side, yet results have not followed or matched that.

And the narrative from outside will be that we sacked Cooper outside of the relegation zone and he was getting the best out of a terrible squad.

I will not be surprised at all to see Ruud walk in the next week.

Feeling somewhat optimistic today, it's always darkest before the dawn!

I hope he does, because the board are treating him badly.

Despite the effort put in, we've been soundly beaten by a very average PL team having an off day.

Relegation looks a certainty, but I'll still be watching every match, if only for the reason that I might never see City in the PL in my lifetime again.

Yup...and once you accept that, you'll accept that we ain't winning again this season. Such a soft touch and partly down to half the team got relegated last time.

I don't know if anyone realised but the injury to Lerma changed the game.

Before he and Hughes were being over-ran in midfield during the first 15 mins.

Doucoure coming on changed the game and we just looked bereft of ideas when we had possession.

At least 4 of our players were crap last night, Mavididi, Vardy, Winks & Vestergaard, the latter should never play in the Premier League again, that was probably the worst 2nd half performance by a City side I can remember, we bring on subs who are Championship at best, I can’t see Ruud staying much longer wether he is sacked or he walks remains to be seen, where has the massive club bond gone in the last 8 years and we look a shadow of our former self…

If we couldn't play Daka or Edouard for the majority of the match against QPR then they're clearly not good enough to be at the club in the first place!

Just watched the goals back and Soumare yet again offering zero protection for the defence.

I’m convinced that if we signed a competent DM then our defence improves hugely.

We have gone down hill in midfield since Wilf’s injury. While he is improving going forward, he has zero awareness on the pitch or instincts and that is costing us goals.

For the first goal he stood and watched the player run through the midfield.  If he walked forward he would’ve blocked his lane. He only started jogging then gave up when he passed by. Brain dead player at times.

Exactly.  Why not start Daka and get him some minutes, potential form and give Vardy some actual competition.
