Not experienced enough. No shame in that but losing three games at home 0-3 0-2 0-2 against Wolves, Palace and Fulham shows he is simply not good enough. Totally the wrong chap to rebuild this club when we get relegated.

Oh, sorry l didn't realise you were there when he specifically asked for the players, guess it would have been down to Rudkin if it was lovely Ruud.

Players are not signed in todays world purely on a managers say so, those days are gone.

Strangely the next target after Cooper- Ayew is probably the main reason we have the paltry total of points we have!

But then l suppose thats down to luck.

As I've said before, Cooper was a mistake, sacking him a worse one and appointing the next Rooney a total disaster.

For me it's a FACT that no manager could keep us up with an inept owner and a DoF who is an agents dream, and that includes the hapless Cooper who has been and was always intended to be the fall guy.

It’s down to Rudkin as much as Cooper in the construction of the squad. It’s fine you argue what you want and not believe me but Cooper played a huge hand in our transfer business.

Cooper at the very least was compliant to spending a huge part of the transfer budget on Oliver Skipp (Cooper signing - ex England youth links), he agreed on the loan of Edouard and pushed a lot for Ayew (which you know spending money on a 35 year old is a bit silly).

Throw in some of Cooper’s behaviour behind the scenes. And you have a ****ing idiot who would eventually fail hired by another ****ing idiot not convinced of his appointment originally.

You seemingly can’t disconnect that  Cooper was dogshit doesn’t mean folk think Ruud is any better. Just they can see Ruud doesn’t an available world class goalkeeper or a promising winger or a physical centre midfielder. And his budget to bring players in his severely limited because of Cooper’s choice of players.

Your final conclusion is correct though.

Rudkin oversaw our peak

At our peak, Champions and champions league football he oversaw;

Bob Zieler,

Slimani for x3 his recommended value

Mendy who looked like kante to replace kante

and an unknown Spanish full back with a long throw.

People calling for Ruud’s head yet he hasn’t got his own back room staff in, got a shit load of players that aren’t up for the fight and isn’t being backed properly by the board. He cannot win.

Genuinely curious case this one, why? why is he not camped outside of Tops office screaming about this?
Seems to me like he's happy with the staff and doesn't want to bring in his own.

Part of me suspects that as the club already shelled out a fair on compo for various coaches this yesr, they don’t want to spend more

The wider world don’t think any clubs have issues unless Mike Ashley has been there.

You may be right, but that concerns me even more then, either Ruud is happy with the staff we have, he isn't happy but is too weak to force anything. Or possibly he's been deceived by us.

Cooper had a load of shit players but won us points and didn’t go 7 games without a win.

We’ve had two bad managers this season. A better manager would not have us losing 7 games in a row.

I have never seen a bad manager  defended so much on here.

We have 4 first teamers out, Hermanson making worldie save after worldie save, if you're criticising the manager, what do you think he's getting wrong?

Apart from the West Ham game, you're right.

Maybe 6 losses in a row and barely having a shot on target, not sure actually, hmmm

Oh, don't get me wrong (as lots do) l dont think Cooper was anything but crap, but maybe just maybe he saw that our squad was crapper (when lots on here were touting mid table), and realised he had to play the way he did because of the limitations.

The fact that our talentless players were actively working against him is l think unforgivable and their only defence would have been an immediate improvement in performances, this has clearly not happened and l can only see them as snakes I'm afraid.

I was hoping for a more ambitious appointment and was dismayed when Cooper was announced.

But his remit was keep us out of the relegation zone and he did by whatever means  - luck?

The great Gary Player was called lucky "yep" he said " and the more I practice the luckier l get "

So, l found his sacking at that particular time puzzling, but all was explained when it was explained that our owner had a serious crush on handsome though unproven, untested Ruud.

I also really hate bullying, victimisation and double standards all of which has been in evidence recently in only now placing the blame on the real culprits when frankly its been them all along.

It's often said that a man is only three bad decisions away from living on the street, in business the street is bankruptcy and our owner has made catastrophically bad decisions- Rodgers - too late, Cooper - wrong man, Van Nistelrooy - appointed on a whim.

The next few weeks will define this club for years if not decades to come.

The fact you can't tell if it's aimed at the players, manager, coachers, leadership, catering staff and owner says it all.

mavididi is dog muck, buonnonate is not good enough, McAteer is not good enough, Vardy is 38 and is now clearly not PL level. We haven't got the players, we haven't got the funds to buy anymore. When Soumare is your best player in a game, you're in trouble, and we are, we're playing without a RW, LW is rubbish, bilal runs around and works well but doesn't create, Ayew looks as if he isn't interested. Our only hope is there's some funds we don't know about, we pull out some gems like Huth/Albrighton/Fuchs and we go on a run, but it's very unlikely

Just a reminder that any replacement will be from the usual, unimaginative pool. Either that or they will give Brian Barry-Murphy a shot.

Did he also have four first team players out injured? Cooper had a full fit team and we was still shit.
