For sure, I'm just being a pedantic bitch.

Although, tbf, it depends. If Cannon goes for 10, depending on how his purchase (and exit I suppose) are structured it's possible we've got about 4m profit left in this period.

Even acounting for a net 0 January, that still means we could sign about 20m worth of players on 5 year contracts. Given that Pavlovic wouldn't ACTUALLY be £20m as one solid fee, it's not entirely beyond the realm of possibility that we throw that much at one player if we think we can also maybe do a good loan.

We wanted a full back, centre back and a left winger right? That's what Percy said our priorities were a couple weeks ago, at least. Well we just signed a versatily LB/RB for pennies, the winger is our lowest priority and could possibly be covered by a cheap loan giving a young promising winger from Europe somewhere match time. Most important of those positions to spend any actual money on and make sure you really get right is the centre back.

It's not entirely outside the realms of possibility that we pay 15+ for one.

Love the optimism Finners, but being the negative bitch in this conversation lol I could well be wrong, but I just can’t see us spending over £15 million on one player, even if we do create more funds via sales.

I know fans are unsurprisingly frustrated, we are desperate for players to improve the starting 11, but with the situation we find ourselves in, I’m not surprised that it’s proving to be a difficult window so far. Even the bit part players in Europe’s top five leagues who are craving game time, are probably weighing up options and holding out for better moves. Even if we do nab a couple of loans from abroad, they’ll probably be as underwhelming as Cengiz Under was.

If the worst happens and we do get relegated then slapped with a transfer embargo, surely the right move would be to plan for the future by signing a few more players like Coulibaly in a cheaper price bracket, knowing that they’ll be here for the longer term.

In terms of priorities, I honestly think a CB, WG and ST are all as equally needed right now. This team is crying out for more pace to be added to it. I pray that we can somehow produce three permanent deals in those positions, but the likelihood of that is probably slim.

Looks like a proper defender so hope he's not forced into "playing" out from the back if signed.

He's pretty comfortable on the ball tbh, nothing flash but decent enough.

Concern would be his tendency to rush into the tackle too much, can pull him out of position, but he's a definite upgrade on what we currently have

Even if it was only on loan for the rest of the season, he would be a great addition. Has elements of Vestergaard's game but is much faster.

To me, he has the stats of a midfielder. The defensive bit seems lacking (blocks, interceptions, clearances,)

Surely you just offer any loan players a big bonus if we stay up to encourage them to take the chance.

Half a seasons relegation scrap.  Fail, go back to your parent club.  Succeed, get a nice fat bonus.  You could offer them a million quid if you needed to.  It's gonna be peanuts if it's based on survival.

They probably do a hell of a lot less defending at Milan compared to Sit on the goal line City.

With how lucrative the EPL is for players I’d imagine these sorts of bonuses are bare minimum nowadays for relegation teams trying to sign players. It seems the players have all the power.

Is this just an opinion or have you got some information :dunno:

Opinion and my knowledge of how rubbish we are at transfers and scouting recently   . Add in the fact  we’re about as appealing as standing in dog shit wearing flip flops .

Stay and play for AC Milan in the Champions' League.

Or have the opportunity of a lifetime to play with the likes of Faes and Justin in a record breaking Premiership losing streak.

The Duomo di Milano isn't worthy of comparison with the world famous Clock Tower. Sure he's on his way here as we speak.

The offer of a massive contract and a chance to play in the Premier League can be very persuasive. Not sure that landmarks will have any bearing on negotiations, although playing alongside our defenders might.

I think the only way this works is an Okoli swap, followed by a relegation sell clause at about 10m.

Unless this is genuinely a loan, with obligation based on our survival. In which case it makes total sense.

Yeah let’s go… we need to spend I reckon about £50 million quid to stay up which we won’t do but hey let’s chat about it for a bit anyway before getting two shite players in on loan from abroad  and buying another couple of semi dogshit neverwillbees for about 7 million a piece.

its where we are it seems.

Geezer was born in Serbia pal, I doubt the middle of Leicester and what it has to offer even blips on his radar when it comes to shitholes 😂

Milan is an absolute shithole. Sure, the central Plaza is nice but the rest of what I saw (which was a fair bit) was rubbish. San Siro is amazing for the history but it's not a surprise  both Milan teams are looking to leave as it's the most archaic top flight stadium I've ever been to.

People always talk about players moving to Leicester as though you're chained to some council estate and they must shop in Poundland at all times lol

It's the cob based diet that puts most of them off - they want focaccia and olives, honestly, they're worse than people from London.
