First game, so probably a bit harsh to judge but he was rubbish tonight, very similar to games for us and echoing what the stoke fans said. Completely anonymous, never gets involved just stands up top and needs perfect service. Rudkin masterclass....until he scores 4 in the next game

I watched the game tonight and thought he looked so easy to play against.

 

No movement, weak hold up play and presses like he’s been asked to rather than he wants to. Think we were right to get rid of him on that showing.

He really isn't that good. Multiple managers have seen enough of him and he never suited the way we want to play in terms of the press.

 

The old adage about every player becoming better when they're not in the team is definitely true here. Having said that, we could look very silly if we are frantically looking round for a player of similar quality for the championship quality in the summer, and end up having to spend £20m.

I think the issue is we will inevitably need a new striker soon as Vardy is done. This means Rudkin will spend 20 million on someone even worse in the summer.

He didnt have a sniff all night from Sheffield United creating practically nothing. Im pretty sure he didnt even have a shot in the entire game. As soon as Hamer is back creating chances he will be banging them in. Hes a finisher, not an all round forward thats going to be involved in build up play

Right, and you need to be more than that to step up to Premier League level, so he's probably found his peak unless he dramatically improves his all round game.  We got £10mill. Whittaker just went for £6mill.  Imo a better player and bigger goal threat, and he's not even a striker.  There will still be better deals to be done than Cannon if we go down.

This I’ll be the biggest mistake Top makes if he keeps him here as DOF any longer he should be moved on to something else within King Power, I’m sure Vichai would have seen through his incompetences by now and Moved him on !
